Haltec or lock-on chucks work ok if valve protrudes enough. Screw-on chuck works on RV tires with beauty discs, etc., where Haltec or lock-on types won't work. Press-on chucks can be a PITA if tube type tire is deflated.
I watched the video and was confused when I heard NPD threads and had to go searching to find out what that is. I could not find any such thing, but went searching on this product and it is in fact NPT threaded. I even replayed several times to make sure I had not misheard.
Was looking at the Haltec chuck for motorcycle tire inflation, but after seeing the size, I'll get one just for my cars. Still looking for a lock on chuck to fit in tight spaces.
@@marka6487 Thanks Mark. I bought the Haltec and tried it out. The thin teeth allow it to unseat from the valve. It looks like the same construction as the Airtech jaws. I returned the Haltec and ended up using a cheap lever clip on chuck.

I bought the analogue version of this. You are correct, the chuck is rubbish.
