They isolate stars & pump them with alcohol & keep them high on drugs so they're compliant & become "hit machines", eventually losing their sense of self. Believing they are only as good as their last hit, it's so easy to spiral into deep depression especially when focus is off them & they're left to cope with the hard crash alone, and often poor due to all their earnings taken by record companies.
