I dont think he minded being overshadowed. They are his elders. Plus Barry wrote this song & they sing on it so they were all part of his career also. I dont think they were competing for the same audience as Andy was very much a teen pop idol superstar. Maybe thats what he didnt like cause it means you dont get taken as seriously & your shelf life can be shorter. Teens are fickle. But I dont think he resented his brothers.

My husband and I saw Andy Gibb on Broadway many years ago in the lead part of Joseph and the Technicolor Raincoat. He was superb. Since this was amusical he sang many songs. Handsome sexy and in perfect form. Gone way too soon but we were blessed to have experienced his performances.

I dont think they were competing for the same audience as Andy was very much a teen pop idol superstar. Maybe thats what he didnt like cause it means you dont get taken as seriously & your shelf life can be shorter. Teens are fickle. But I dont think he resented his brothers.

My husband and I saw Andy Gibb on Broadway many years ago in the lead part of Joseph and the Technicolor Raincoat. He was superb. Since this was amusical he sang many songs. Handsome sexy and in perfect form. Gone way too soon but we were blessed to have experienced his performances.
