ELVIS looked back at Ronnie on stage with admiration on Elvises face. Love to watch them on videos

He definitely fell right into the perfect place for him to shine, he and The TcB band was definitely a match made in heaven, i dont think any of Elvis' sound in that era would've been the same without him😊

I still get excited hearing the drum opening to the live version of 'C.C. Rider'.

From late 1974 Ronnie would do a drum solo, as part of the band introductions at every Elvis concert. They are incredible solos and still mind blowing to this day. Great interview by the way.

I just watched the 77 concert and yeah, 90 miles an hour, starting with "See See Rider". Elvis interacting with the drums onstage was fun to watch also.

I became a Ronnie Tutt fan after seeing him play at the many Neil Diamond concerts I went too ! Not being a Elvis fan I had NO idea that he played with Elvis until watching a video on TH-cam and thought that the drummer looked familiar which of course was Ronnie ! RIP Mr Tutt ! Thank YOU so much for the music !

Ronnie was one of the best ever. I love him. You two are so very cool. Its awesome to here 2 musos chewing the fat. My cousin, Uncle and grandfather were drummer. I'm the family outcast, I play guitar.

I Remember watching the Hawaii show on a black and white 16" TV had to keep adjusting the antenna for Resption! Went from asking for a Bicycle foe Christmas to begging for a Drum set ! To the absolute terror of my parents 😅! Still playing 72 now! Thank you Ronnie Tutt!! Saved my life in High school, I went from strange Quite kid ! The strange Mysterious kid! 😅 my Father was Navy we moved alot! Always the new guy! My kit and playing always broke the ice! Learned mostly sleeping with a Am transistor Radio under my pillow! Then would try the Beats the next day! Frustrating I could hear what thay were playing but couldn't see how thay were doing it!😅

I wouldn't call him overrated but he did a perfect job for Elvis and definitely added a fantastic modern twist to his music, most of which was old and tired. I never thought much at all of his solos, he really didn't have the chops for a good solo, they were just disjointed and sloppy, but when it came to playing the song?, then he knew exactly what to do.
