Shore Fishing for Giant Trevally | Marina South Pier Fishing/Surfcasting

Welcome back to another episode of Jives Fishing where we headed down to Marina South Pier for some surfcasting and shore fishing! Fishing was tough today as the strong winds affected our ability to cast. Nonetheless, we were visited by a nice Juvenile Giant Trevally that put up quite a good fight!

Thank you! Yup there are rabbitfish, mostly all the way at the left side (the pier side). You will see many uncles there using small hooks and bread to catch them.

i was there, i came at night.. it was windy thru out the night till late morning.. but not a single catch.

It happens to us too haha. Yes on some days the wind is really strong we can’t even cast. For this video, the winds were actually really strong that day so the baits were all casted very near shore. We were lucky to get a fish.
