Perjalanan yang jauh menuju spot mancing ....perlengkapan pancing terbaik...salut kawan👍
Very good place my friend for fishing, greetings from Indonesian anglers
Appreciate it, I am interested in using small egi's now, in Australia 2.5 and 3 are the most popular
Yeah, but over there you guys have bigger average sizes. Give it a go though.
Here is Sg, smaller egis are something of a necessity mate. Our squid don't really get that large.
Nice video bro.. !
Nice video bro
I would try next week 💥
Good luck man!
Thanks for sharing bro
Hopefully it helps ya!
Hey bro, what egi size would you recommend for Changi boat fishing tip run eging? what egi sinker to add?
Is reels with double handle a must to have? Or is there a specific set up for eging or we can use our normal Rod and reels
Nice video bro
Thanks!
with a much smaller and lighter egi, and with the wind blowing, how did you know you touched the bottom?
It's kinda hard to explain over text. But it will come down to:
1) knowing the spot's depth and your EGI's sink rate.
OR by counting down e.g. Spot A is 8 seconds of sink time for a 4.0 m/s EGI. Of course you would need to know the depth by trying out different sink times and by maybe getting stuck.
2) observing the line to see if there is slack or still being pulled from a falling egi (hard to explain) or the ripple from line from the EGI sinking.
Also by the feel from the rod under a tensioned line.
3) or by giving an educated guess using the 2 factors above.
These are best learnt by experience and time out eging as you need to experience it to understand and learn how to read the line signals. Hope it helps, this one is a bit hard to explain.
Sangkot more paying for $ lesson for $10+ yamashita
is it easy to get snagged with an egi at MSP pier? I see alot of rocks below and lost a few few lures there before. Not egi yet.
If you go during a incoming tide/high tide you should be alright
thanks for the advice, I enjoy your chanel and the tips you give@@IslandAnglersTV
Nice Video bro
Thanks!
Hi I’ve some beginners question like how long is the leader line and the egi lure attached to a swivel snap? Or tied to leader line?
Hi, I would say a 6-7 foot leader would be good but it ultimately depends on your rod length. A snap is best used with an egi to impart a better action, do omit a rolling swivel if you can and use a snap that isn't ridiculously small or large. You can buy purpose built egi snap/swivels for eging but we just use generic duo lock snaps for eging.
@@IslandAnglersTV thanks for the tips I’ll use the duo snap. My rod is 6’ length
Nice informative vid bro, any advice on where to get the egis from?
We usually get ours from either Ewaves Fishbyte or Lurehaven! World Fishing Center has a pretty wide selection of egis as well!
don’t really have the correct line for squid fishing but will it matter? Just wanna catch squid
Generally speaking, no it won't matter, you will still be able to catch squid
But you would have an easier/more productive time and have more fun doing it using the right line or tackle... Good luck!
really nice video. agree with the high risk and high reward. what is your snag rate like?
It depends... from 0 losses a session (super lucky) to 3 (average) or 5 to 6 (horrid day)... On this session on the video I think it was 3
Where did u get the squid tool?
World fishing center!
@@IslandAnglersTV thanks
Can I go eging with you
Can u use UL rod for egi?
Yes!
Last time i went to msp i saw the guardian and greeted him but no catch 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh no! Gotta get him to bless your rod next time then haha
4:30 bro thats really fast if sinks 3.0-4.0 meters per second. Did u mean seconds per meter?😂
Yes, I did. Haha thanks for the correction!
