Speaking from experience this is one of the best interview questions if you know your answer ahead of time. They're literally throwing you a free opportunity to talk about how great and experienced you are and introduce yourself as the perfect candidate.
Do you have any tips for my first job interview! I'm 16 and want to work at a place that my dad's boss owns. (My dad is a Maintenace man/manager) I'm scared that they won't hire me because of my dad's background. Everyone knows him. Any advice?

Any advice for when an interviewer asks, "Tell me about yourself? I have your resume in front of me so no need to walk through every step..." Or something to that variation? The second part throws me off. How should I answer?

can you also od an examaple for a first job i do not have much experience because i know i caant say oh i just saw this job online and applied no reason rlly i caant say tht right it not professional,but im also young ish i am an adult but talking like this seems to professional for a part time job for a normal part time or summer prat time job, Any help would be nice thank you

I never ask this when I interview anyone . It’s a waste of time . And frankly I don’t care , I just want to know, can they do the job ?

You need to show enthusiasm
“Sir.. this is an interview for a McDonald’s?..”
Immediate elevator pitch but making a mental note that the interviewer hasn't done their homework.

Yes it is the dopiest interview question as it means nothing.
And for the job, the interviewer does have the resume in front of them.
