It is said that nepali langauge origin from khas langauge. Khas is shortern word ti khasas as bhartiya people call them. The thing is sikh always called them as khas as one of the 3 division of mahraja ranjit singh army was fouje khas. The word khalsa is said to origin from word khasas. It is also intresting that guru nanak rai visited all those country that had khasas for example in india kashi, kashmir and kashipur are some land named after them. Just like kash gad in nepal, kash ghar in china, mirpur khas , kashmar in pakistan, kash provience afghanistan and kashan and kashmor of iran. He also visited mecha in requeat of his childwood friend.

Lot's of Sikh in Nepal. They're Nepalese Sikhs, not Punjabi Sikhs. In Bihar especially in Patna lots of Bhihari Sikhs. All Sikhs aren't Punjabis. Even in the upper areas of UP, lots of Sikhs.

Actully sikh first came when guru nanak rai founder of sikh came to nepal. He even meditated in riverbanks of pasupati nath temple. There is guru nanak shrine in south side os pasupati (i think). 2nd time was when mahrani of sikh empire and her loyal people came to nepal taking refuge in nepal land . 3rd was because of truck and transport. But sikh have crusial role in nepal from first aviataion landing to even foundation of pipeline by two sikh enginers.

There is never so many sikhs in nepal....they are few now and always they are few. I think they have increased their family to more than 20.

See, I am a Nepali and i used to have my tution classes in kupandole,Lalitpur where there is a Gurudwara saheb and I want to go there i love sikhism that why . I am a hindu n introvert dont lnow why i am scred to go there . I will go there for sure

Isiliye aaj Shikh (Punjabi log) Nepal ke hi hain roots chahe jidhar ke bhi ho.......... Shikhon ki mann aur soch Nepali hai.
I loved your positivity about sikh and nepalese people but your points are not true, many nepalese people begs and all nepalese are not honest otherwise our politicians would not be corrupt.
@@sarojraut7634 Many Nepalese means all the Nepalese???? Please clarify this sratement of yours & I too have seen many Shikhs who are cheaters & who begs but here, I mean in Totality. Similarly, even in India & rest of the globe many politicians are seen corrupted. Does that mean Politicans are responsible for common people's morale and character ?? Which world you live in?? Many Indians particularly from Bihar & U.P. come to Nepal for begging. Does that mean all Indians are beggars??

Also, when a few people, like politicians, do something wrong, it doesn't mean everyone in their country is the same way.To put it simply, let's avoid thinking that the actions of a few people represent everyone in their group. People are unique, and it's better to understand each person for who they are.

@@katmandu0 I don't hate Indians or Sikhs. Judging people by things like caste, religion, or where they're from isn't fair. It creates stereotypes and stops us from really understanding each other. It's better to appreciate our differences and see everyone as unique.
