I absolutely loved the way the primals where made and animated. you could tell that they were happy when they primal reverted and absolutely reveled in their original form. also, when they use their signature moves you can just see that they are the origin (or dominator depending how you look at pokemon creation) in how they make everything move and get destroyed with just a raise of an arm or a cry. i just love this.
As busted as the Primals are, it is a bit weird that half of the BST increase goes into their lower attacking base stat. Still, it is wild seeing sets like EQ Kyogre and Overheat Groudon having success (and even funnier knowing that Primal Groudon is a better special attacker in Ubers than Reshiram, lmfao)
Fun fact: Kyogre and Swampert, it's home region water-type starter, has the same Hp and defense stat. Meaning they both as equally bulky in the physical defensive side.
@phillipclearman859 A STAB Eruption coming off a base 150 SAtk in the sun is a whole lotta no reason. Let's be honest KyogreP doesn't really have the physical movepool to make the best use out of its Atk buff.
*2nd best Nothing tops Rayquaza with being tied for the highest stats of all time amongst usable Pokémon (, neutralizing weather AND being the only mega with a free item slot since it doesn't require a stone.
I absolutely adore the Primals, I hope in Z-A we get more megas that aren't megas (this should have been how Zygarde complete worked but that's a rant for another time). Primal Kyogre is the one I prefer, I adore it's shimmering design, it's cry is one of my favourite's in the series and it's of course an absolute monster in the competitive space, but in a fun way. Idk, it was fun having this, groudon and Rayquaza fighting in a continuous weather war for supremacy.
Ok,primordial kyogre is just,CRAZY,he has 90 speed which is kinda goofy, but is just perfect and good, and the moveset is INSANE,first,it makes thunder never miss, second water spout,it has a boost by the heavy rain, and third,HES MOUNSTROSOUS SP DEFENSE AND SP ATTACK

Honest opinion, they should have gave Priogre a Electric second type, fitting its theme of making endless storms. Could you imagine Stab Thunder never missing in Heavy Rain. If there were ever any Pokemon fitting the name of the Leviathan, this is it. 180 and 150 attacking stats in infinite rain will almost always destroy every opponent who cannot absorb Water. And as for moves, this thing gets Hydro Pump, Surf, Liquidation, Aqua Tail, Scald, Dive, Waterfall, Origin Pulse, and the coveted Water Spout. If you see an enemy Primal Kyogre under a Tailwind and you have nothing to defend against it in the slightest, it is over.
Technically primal kyogre Isn't even the best primal, groudon is far better. Desolate land helps it better because it remove's groudon 4× water weakness. Not just covering weakness but it also gets a better use of It's 150 special attack with Stab eruption and solar beam under harsh sunlight. Even design wise i think primal groudon is better because the lavas look arguably better than idk whatever those bright yellow lines on kyogre is supposed to be. And kyogre's ability only helps it by giving 100+ accurate thunder and boosted water spout, and the fire disable doesn't even help it because it already resists fire. Overall primal groudon > primal kyogre
Groudon is better, because it has a great dual typing, great coverage, no quad weakness with desolate land and I just love this dude! ❤ And don't forget the hazards!
