It does sound a little like my LT2 C8 Corvette. Doesn’t sound like my flat-plane crank F136 Ferrari V8. Yes, but it sounds much better than my BMW G310R thumper.

That's Yamaha for ya but man you get a nice short pipe I believe it was two brothers I had a long time ago on my old r1 but sounded beautiful. those 2000-2013 Yamaha r6s and r1s will forever hold a spot in my heart just like the 98 Hayabusa..... But I feel like the Yamahas from that era had a deeper pitch..... When I bought my first 2015 Ducati panigale 1199rr superleggera I f fell in love it was a sound I'd never heard in a bike it's almost like the difference in how exotic cars such as Ferrari and Lambo etc how they have that cool distinct sound man that Ducati sounded like a computer shifting it's so hard to even describe it's such a badass sound though. God I miss riding. Oh f I might be in my mid life crisis.......... Later everyone got to go do something life changingly drastic lol
It's that crankshaft, most Japanese inline 4s use a flatplane crank, I think it's for letting the engine rev up higher more easily but fact check that if you care. Anyway it gives those engines that F1 type high pitch sound.
I got my 2020R1 to sound like that possibly louder because I got the Austin racing GP1RR no baffle can fit inside so it's pure MotoGP sound even my universal baffle won't fit best sound that CP4
I always love pulling up at a set of lights behind a Harley, it totally fucks with there mind until they realise the sound is coming from my bike. (Austin Racing / CAT delete)

After my Aprilia, an R1 is probably the only other bike I would buy. The sound is addictive.
