- TikTok allows users to block, either temporarily or permanently, anyone else if they want to. It could be because you're annoying them, posting content they don't like, commenting, or messaging them inappropriate things, etc. If you suspect someone has blocked you, here's a foolproof way to see if you are actually blocked by them. You can always go to your account's block list to see who you've blocked and choose whether to unblock them or not.

Thanks for the video. I was leaving comments trying to 'correct the record' on a political video. Someone acknowledged my point, but said it didn't matter. Right after I responded to their response, TikTok refreshed the page and all comment notifications related to the video went away and I am no longer following the creator. I actually only followed them to prevent losing the video, but now I know we will each live in our own bubbles of reality.

I got blocked by Tia last week. I was spamming likes on her posts but out of nowhere I got blocked and never had a chance to follow her. The fact that she did that out of nowhere was honestly rude and disrespectful, even though I was clearly showing support. If she didn’t like being spammed she should’ve just told DMed about it, no one can read peoples mind.

@MANI most people these days never give out reason of why you was blocked. Someone even block all of my accounts before. It’s made me a different decision to let to ask someone who knows this person and give out a reasoning of why I was blocked. Most of the time it’s better to move on. Getting unblocked on social media ain’t always easy except if a friend helps out.
