I first saw Sophie when she was the singer in the late 1990’s Britpop band, Theaudience. On a visit to the UK in 2000, I saw the video of I Know Enough (I Don’t Get Enough), and loved the song, so I bought the cd. Lost track of her after that until I saw her on TH-cam some years later, and discovered her solo work. I like all of it, but her recent stuff, the LP’s Wanderlust, Familia, and Hana are favorites for their pop sounds over the earlier dance heavy albums, but you can’t go wrong with her music. So glad to see her have some US success.

Im sorry Sophie but not everyone likes NYC. I DESPISE NYC, its so overrated, reductive and trashy compared to many other meotropolitan cities. HOWEVER, I would fly to NYC just to see you perform live! - Murder on the Dance Floor has been on my playlists since it came out in the early 2000s and i actually have been listening to it over the last few years before it blew up on TikTok. I am just as happy and surprised as Sophie is, I am sure many of her fans are
