What do you do when a steering shaft comes apart and the steering wheel moved? If the clock spring has the arrows lined up is that the position for the vehicle wheels perfectly straight?
Hello, I got a 1995 gmc C1500 Sierra. How do you know if you have a bad clockspring how do you check it. My airbag light is on an my cruise control dont work.
Do you know if you can re-pin the airbag connector? I got my clockspring from eBay and it's from an S-series and has the black connector. I think I need the yellow connector.

does that help with getting the stearing wheel lined up right. Mine is over half a turn off.

Just put a 2006 inside a 2008 idk if that’s what you meant but it fits

Forgot to say make sure the steering wheels are centered otherwise none of that centering at the clock spring will do any good
Yep...just what I was thinking...or more importantly that the front wheels are straight ahead and the steering wheel centred before you remove it.
