Thanks for watching and congrats on picking up the no-date Sub! Such a timeless piece with incredible quality-can’t go wrong with a classic like that. Hope you enjoy every second of it!
Really enjoyed this review! I have an 114060 and when I saw the 12 series in person, I couldn’t believe the difference in lug sizes. I think in the no date version , I prefer the 11 series. In the date sub, I like the 12!
Thanks so much for the kind words-I’m glad you enjoyed the review! I totally hear you on the lug sizes; seeing the 12 series in person is such a game-changer, right? The way those slimmer lugs alter the whole vibe is wild. I love that you have the 114060-it’s such a classic, and honestly, I get why the no-date just feels right in the 11 series. The Date Sub in the 12, though? Chef's kiss. It’s cool how these small changes can make a big difference in what we love about each piece. Appreciate you sharing your thoughts-wear that Sub in good health!
Glad you think so! It’s all about finding that perfect fit that complements your wrist, whether you’ve got pencils or not. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!
I totally get where you’re coming from-it’s not easy finding the right watch when you’ve got larger wrists. I’m on the opposite end of the spectrum with smaller wrists, so I know the struggle of finding that perfect fit, just in a different way. It’s funny how what works for one doesn’t always work for another, but that’s what makes the watch journey so personal, right? If you’ve found any brands or styles that fit better, I’d love to hear about them. Always great to learn from each other. Thanks for sharing and for being here-it means a lot!
@@Watch-Wined Don't worry, they grow with age. Hehe. I can't afford a Rolex so I bought a Seiko King Sumo in green. It looks and works fine since one year now.
@@jjrusso8295 good eye! I currently have the Styx Watch Protection film, that should last about 5 years. Yes, I love it and don’t need to worry about the clasp or the bracelet getting scratched. I highly recommend it if scratches bother you.
It’s weird, I see many shots where it looks huge on people’s wrists and I don’t have big wrists but I am 6’5. I went into the AD and tried on a 124060 and it looked small to medium on my wrist. Fit like a glove! But not for sale lol.
The Sea-Dweller's 43mm really does hit that sweet spot for wrist presence without being too overwhelming. I hear you on the thickness-sometimes it can feel a bit chunky on the wrist.
@@maradona8623Nope. I felt like it was too top heavy. I did end of getting a submariner. I feel like with the sea dweller I’ll probably end up beating it up too much with it being thicker.
Nice review, just got my no date from my AD this past weekend, amazing quality and such a classic. Enjoy!

11 series for the win. The GMT's still have the supercase
It’s the perfect size when you don’t have pencils for wrists

Looks fine in size to me. But I have large wrists and struggle with getting watches to fit.

Breitling caters to the larger wrist market.
Do you like the protective stickers. I see you added !Plan on keeping them forever ?

@@Watch-Winedridiculous. It’s a f’ing tool watch. Just wear it. It’s supposed to get scratches ffs.

Do you have the Sea Dweller 43 as well?

@@maradona8623 unfortunately I do not own the Sea Dweller 43.
It’s a shame nobody can get it. Keeps the price up I guess.
I love my 41 mm submariner Starbucks
The Submariner Starbucks is a gorgeous piece. I love the green bezel. +1
What is your wrist size?
My wrist size is 6.75” inches in circumference.
1:11 your wrist definitely is not 6.75in. The lugs are literally hanging over your wrist lol.
Too big for sure. And 21 mm bracelet and bigger clasp than its predecessor really shows!
Too small for me it needs to be 45mm at least
Any other insecurities you'd like to let us know about?
@@sacragon Yes I have a very small knob
It’s not too big, but it’s definitely too big for your wrist. Looks a bit comical on you.
