- I acquire a rusty old 3 in 1 sheet metal tool, clean it up, and build a stand for it. Lots of detail on how these machines are put together and work if you are looking to buy one. They are sold by multiple companies from Harbor Freight to Grizzly - but they all look the same and I suspect, come from the same manufacturer. They are very sturdy and heavy.

We find treasure like this all the time!!! We use acid on rust. Great educational video.
Thanks for the video. I purchased one, 52" weighing 398KG, also second hand and very rusty, this past Friday, have cleaned about half the rust of so far over the weekend, using steel wool dipped in vinegar, which works really well, and then oiled the parts that had previously rusted.
How much does your weigh,? Do you have concerns about it being top heavy? I'm fairly new to metal working so not sure about sizing the metal for the stand to hold 400KG worth of machine, plus some for safety, can you share your thoughts on that maybe?

There are general rules about the strength of tubing, such as: the ticker the wall- the stronger the tube; and the larger the diameter tube, the stronger the tube. jesus what a joke. your proud of that death trap? I own one of these and i know there is no way this device is safe this heavy and that narrow.
