I always listen to you guys as a podcast so I don’t usually leave comments. But I had to come and just drop a I❤ you guys so much. I am gearing up for the start of Beyond the Gates because although I have my reservations, as a soap opera loving fiend, I can’t help but be excited to start watching from Day One. I want to give that show every SINGLE chance to succeed so I’m going to give them an extra dose of patience. Speaking of extra dose of patience😂😂😂. I have been watching all episodes of GH now since around Sams death. I go way back to Sam from day one and with Kelly Monaco, I was there for her Port Charles days as Livie and the other one😂😂(she was playing sort of two characters) so I wanted to be there as a tribute to the actress and the character I fell in love with decades ago. The show has shown some improvements but there is still plenty of shoddy lazy writing that makes me roll my eyes. But since it’s in a much better place than it was when I stopped watching it a few months back, I’m gonna give it some grace. I really really really really need them to examine and structure these characters properly. I feel like I can forgive poor plot points, sloppy story telling but it hurts me to my core when they are disgraceful to character building and development. Number Onr on this list has to be Drew Lame. What in the ever loving fuk are they doing to this character!!!!???? I’m convinced he’s not Drew but a programmed plant. There is no freakin way this is the guy they brought back who was missing his daughter and stumbled and fell into Carly’s vajajay because he was so sensitive and caring. Not many may agree, but I feel like Willow is actually being written in character😂😂😂 she has been silly from day one so it carries theough. The only times I cared for her in the past was when she had beef with Nina about Charlotte who was bullying Aden but everythig else about her sticky icky sweetness I have disliked. She has shown she has very morals when she basically cheated on Chase with Michael - even if she didn’t see her marriage to Chase as authentic, she stillMarried him and should have waited till he passed away before jumping Michael in the bed she and Chase shared so girlfriend’s history very much supports the filth she is doing now😂😂. I am Saddened by what they have written for our beloved Tristan Rogers. I did watch on TH-cam some years back the Robert and Holly storyline when they fell in love so I did have. Special place in my heart for them as a couple Plus Emma Samms is so wonderful. But each horrible Holly return has soured me on them. This return was the final nail and I don’t want to see them together. The less said about the most recent bad parent storyline for Sasha, the more I can accept her as a Scorpio. She could have been a Scorpio by just marrying Cody - even if I will not care for him- but… anyhooo. I like Sasha so I’m good with her on my screen - just hope they utilize her for better story. One last note, I plain just hate Kristina. And I know Molly has her faults and I don’t like the way she is not communicating with TJ but when it comes to Molly and Kristina, I stand all ten toes with Molly - even when Molly is petty and wrong😂😂😂 because at this point let her be petty and wrong - her feelings to me just feel more justified and I empathize with them a LOT more than I do with whatever selfish trash Kristina is feeling or is up to. Kristina has always been a problematic character but with Lexie in the role, there was a sweetness and naivety that made me want to hug her after giving her a good slap. Kate’s portray is just too biting and harsh for me to feel sympathy for her. However, I think Kate is doing a phenomenal job - minus a few over- reaching scenes. Kate also has chemistry across the canvas. I just wish the writers would flesh her out a bit and soften her in certain areas so she can be more complex Kate is capable of handling it. Otherwise, Kristina is starting to feel like Kate’s previous character on Days - sanctimonious at best and a harpy at worst. The writers need to do better and stop being so lazy!
You're right about Holly and Robert are not that couple. They never really were. They completely retconned the past just to write this story. Robert's one true love is Anna. In 2008 on nightshift during Robert's cancer story it was said they were each other's endgame so Holly to me is an has always has been an interloper from the beginning. Gh writers think we don't know the history and Robert Scorpio was one of my all time favorite characters. This story completely ruined him for me.
@Travoice-k4i but once Anna came on the scene and you saw their back story it was clear Holly was 2nd to all of it. Robert always dropped everything for Anna no questions asked.

Holly was visible in PC dating Bill Eckert at that time. It makes no sense. Holly may have c9me first but they had to twist everything to make this work. Again go back to night shift to Robert's cancer story and that will tell you everything you need to know.
The guy playing Isaiah is such a good actor. I hope they give Trina a good story. How many days have passed since Cody punch Drew? Haha I am beginning to wonder if Drew is really Drew. I was hoping Michael would go dark instead of soft on Willow.
Alexis doesn’t have the time for those kids. Kristina is too needy. I can’t see her making those kids her priority over Kristina and her constant drama.
Hi Ladies: Thank you for a great review: Regarding the new character of Kia. I think He and Trina come from two different worlds. He is into Sports and she is into her education Trina has lead a sheltered life and I think it's going to be the opposite for Kia. In my opinion the writers have a great opportunity here if they just tell a cohesive story. I have a feeling the friend is going to a road block in their developing relationship. Maybe even a male Esme Regarding Lucky, I think that a good job for him would be for him would be to run the Savoy for Curtis but with Drew throwing Curtis under the bus by offing the CEO position to Michael, Curtis many need to run his own club. Lastly, Regarding who should Sam's kids go to, I think Danny is old enough to say where he wants to go but the problem is he will not want to leave his sister wherever he goes. Ladies, thank you for the podcast. I agree that Kristina is annoying, Lucky is lame, Drew is a snake, and Gio is silly and serves no purpose. GH is very guilty of dropping stories like Sonny’s killing of Cates and the murder of Austin. I hope the new guy works for Trina and that the young adults will have some story. All the time that was wasted on the “romance” of 78 year old Robert and the repulsive Holly-why do the writers prefer that mess to Joss, Dex, Trina, and the young folks? I totally agree about Michael. He should have been the one to punch out Drew, not Jason. I hope Lulu works because the show has invested in her, and if she is a dud, what a waste of time, money, and effort it will have been.

I feel like they were chem testing Isaiah and Molly. That’s Jordan’s man lol Backoff Molly lol. I think once Kai and Trina are hot and heavy Spencer (recast) will pop back up. We were introduced to Robert and Holly first back in 1981! Robert and Anna didn't come until 1985!
