thank for the review....been looking at loads...even the famous brands get bad reviews....just want one that plays music....not one that brushes my teeth..and wipes my bum as well....thanks to you just bought one from e bay £15 brand new.
Just got mine in the mail today. I come from the OLD SCHOOL of headphones with FM radio for the gym. I'm not sure how to "drag and drop" things from my computer yet, but will learn in time. Not even sure how to use the FM radio yet! But I will learn. Thanks for hipping me to this player, and making me realize that I purchased a good product!
I bought myself one A02S-XT about 6 months ago from amazon, I love it! When I got it, it only came with the charged and manual, though. It did not come with earbuds or anything, but it came in a really pretty teal and white box with silver accents
Thanks so much for the review, it's been really helpful ! I bought this for my elderly aunt to use in hospital so it's really handy to understand how it works!!!
As a guy who has bought many Chinese products on Amazon, I always called the instructions booklet "Google translate English". Chinglish is much more succinct. Thanks for the review!
Since my old iPod nano crapped out on me, I needed something new but never came to actually buying a substitute. Anyway, this video certainly made my decision very very easy. Much obliged!!
Just bought one, phone broke and recently got subwoofer in my car, was using usb stick but hard to find the song you want, this will be perfect :) I was about to pay 24 quid when you said on the video to get it on amazon, saved me 6 quid or there abouts :), cheers
Must not have had a very nice infotainment interface on your car stereo. I don't mind the USB interface in my car. I get a nice list that I can scroll through pretty easily.
Very nice indeed👌👌Ima buy it this christmas, I have music on my phone but I want an mp3 just for music and I think this will get the job done. Thanks for the review!!!!
Steve - I purchased a Sony earbud with mic to use with this MP3. Will the mic with the earbud automatically be utilized by the MP3 for recording. Additionally, where will the recording be stored? In the internal storage or the external storage (64 GB added)? Thanks.
+Frank T Hi Frank. No its not that advanced but you can just plug the unit into the pc and move the songs into different folders like on a hard drive. Nice and easy.
Here's the deal folks if you're looking for an MP3 player with an expandable memory this is a good choice but you have to keep in mind but 3.55 megabytes is considered one song so if you have a song that is 12.5 megabytes then that would be considered a little over 3 or 4 songs so if your songs are really long 5 6 7 8 9 minutes long you're not going to fit quite that number of songs because one song Universal is considered 3.5 5 megabytes 3.55 GB is one song
Thank you for the great review! How about signal strength through the audio jack? I will be connecting it to a receiver, and I am looking for a player that pumps a decent volume.
Can you use a 'real' pair of good headphones with this? You show the headphone jack (hole) and it's size looks big enough. Most sites don't show pics of that. The ear phone cable that came with yours looks about like the end of my headphone cable. Straight at the end. Doesn't bend.
Hi Steve. Yes if you can do a video about how to obtain TH-cam music to this player and also how to upgrade the 8gb to 32gb. (I have the upgrade) I don't know a thing about how to operate this or any MP3 player. Your help would be greatly appreciated! :)
how is the quality of the Bluetooth? im thinking about using it for Bluetooth earphones for the gym. is the Bluetooth a good distance or does it cut in and out??
top tip - if using blue/green screen - bear in mind that it looks like your floating, if you dont have an anchor point. possibly use a corner or even a thick border to stop the distractions of floating in the video. great review otherwise!
Mine did NOT come with headphones. I had to purchase them seperately. And yes, I did get it from Amazon. I wonder why they didn't include a set of head phones with the one I purchased. (the ad does say "does not include headphones.")
+Wesley Hay hi Wesley. Strange the headphones were not included. The included ones on mine were "ok" but not fantastic i now use a better pair with a little more bass as the included ones were a little on the tinny or toppy side. Other than that how are you finding it ...
Steve Homer Hi Steve; I'm really new at this MP3 technology. I have never had one before, nor used one. I am relying on TH-cam videos and the included instructions on how to use it. I have not yet used it. I have to find out about everything. I do know to charge it I have to plug it into my computer. But I don't even know if I am to leave the computer on or if it is okay to turn it off! (I am supposed to charge it for 4 hours initially according to the instructions. )And I got these AGPTek W1 "pro-in ear" sports earphones seperately. I hope they are good enough for now at least. Well lots of self learning to do! I'm sure it isn't rocket science, and I am looking at it like an adventure/challenge type thing. Well away I go to get this understood! Thanks much for the interest! Keep in touch! :)
Steve Homer Hi Steve; Well sure. I appreciate that! I can use all the help I can get. I noticed that most of these videos on here are geared to those who already know about MP3 players and the rest of it, and few really assume you know very little to nothing about them.
when placing 8000+ files in a folder on SD card, trying to play all always plays 4000 songs only. I suspect there is a limitation in the amount of entries somehow. Does anyone has this issue? anybody found a workaround? Thanks!
Appreciate the extensive reviews, Steve. Have you by chance found an option for a resume feature in the settings? To clarify, if I'm playing a tune (or, MUCH more importantly, a podcast), pause the tune, then turn the unit off, can it be setup to return to the pause point on power up?
+ajbfwb if you pause the song your on then turn off the unit it will play from where you left off on that track. If you are playing a track and just turn it off.. it will start from the beginning of that track Hope that helps ....
It does. Thanks. It would seem that feature carries over to all the various incarnations of this player one can find on places like Amazon. I wonder if AGPTEK is the actual maker, or just one of the many re-branders?
great video, thanks this is same as ruizu x02 i believe which is available as low as 11$ on aliexpress, free shippin.althought it takes a month to reach.anyways 11 bucks, would u believe that?
Better than the new Sony, but I miss my old Sony. Getting used to controls. Quality is fine, much better than the new Sony. I can listen to music for long periods of time. (hours)
one year later the screen graphics look squashed and the firmware update doesn't work. Want to know if a product is any good go check out the faq forum..
I got it plus warranty and it had an error where it wouldn't turn on. I got a replacement and a month later the screen glitched. Its pretty cheap and there are better quality products out there. After looking for a while I found this www.amazon.com/Player-Bluetooth-Dansrue-Portable-Lossless/dp/B074L7SCL4. I bought it and am very happy at its quality compared to agptek. Dont buy the agptek a02
Q: A review on Amazon claimed you could not playback ripped CD's in MP3 format, only downloaded files. I find this hard to believe, but thought I would ask anyway. Better safe than sorry. PS: I had an older Sony Walkman player for better part of a decade and it was great until I washed it. The more modern replacement is bad. (NW-E393) sound is very not-so-good and menu looks like it went backward in tech. I'm looking for no frills high quality music playback. Thanks for your review.
+ChessIsJustAGame Thanks for your comment.. I have put my cd collection into wma format using the built in media player on windows and as yet have not found a problem. The audio quality was good but not perfect on the provided ear buds with the player. I upgraded them and now get perfect audio. This player is no frills.. i will also display video and photos but the screen is low resolution so not a feature that i covered on the review.. If your looking for something inexpensive.. no frills and just does what it says on the tin then this item is for you. I hope this has been of help to you. Thanks again Steve.
I got the B03 (8GB) today and have been listening for a few hours now. My go/no go quality test is how long can you listen before "fatigue" makes you stop. So far no fatigue, so that makes this model far far superior to the latest Sony (NW-E393) using the same digital MP3 files. So far very good, I am pleased. The AGPtek B02 8GB came with a micro-USB cable and some cheap looking ear buds that I don't plan to even test. I am using older high quality Creative ear phones. Been very pleased with them. Humor: printed on the back of the box: "Tips for First Time Use 1. Compatible with Windows XP or higher and newest Mac OS. Not compatible with child under 3 years old."
Apple can't be that simple because they also sell music, and to do that they need to follow the music industry's awful rules to limit consumer freedom. They don't like people being able to copy music too easily, hence such brilliant inventions as copy-protected CDs and the draconian DRM built into iTunes (now Apple Music) and the iPod.
Hey. Try to play songs by album. Guess what. This player groups albums by only the first 8 characters and not the whole album title! This player thinks that "The Greatest Hits of The Beatles" and "The Greatest Hits of STYX" are the same album and will lump all of the songs from both of those albums together!! Had to return mine.
thank for the review....been looking at loads...even the famous brands get bad reviews....just want one that plays music....not one that brushes my teeth..and wipes my bum as well....thanks to you just bought one from e bay £15 brand new.
+john griffith im glad the review was of help to you. And yes it just does that it says on the tin ... plays music
do you still recommend it a year later? Thinking of buying this...

+bruodowd no problem at all.. im glad the video helped!! Enjoy...
Hi Steve, could you direct me, or tell me where I might get directions for downloading music to this device? I would really appreciate it!
I bought myself one A02S-XT about 6 months ago from amazon, I love it! When I got it, it only came with the charged and manual, though. It did not come with earbuds or anything, but it came in a really pretty teal and white box with silver accents

LOL go off brother

+Seba Bogus im glad the review was of help to you. Its a great product if you just want a great no frills mp3 player.

Very nice indeed👌👌Ima buy it this christmas, I have music on my phone but I want an mp3 just for music and I think this will get the job done. Thanks for the review!!!!
Got one on Amazon UK, it came with a charging lead. It's a great piece of kit and mighty cheap
Can you jump 10 seconds back, 3 seconds back, or 5 seconds back in the track? - If you want rewind some seconds during leasing
what about the charger?
Steve - I purchased a Sony earbud with mic to use with this MP3. Will the mic with the earbud automatically be utilized by the MP3 for recording. Additionally, where will the recording be stored? In the internal storage or the external storage (64 GB added)? Thanks.
Nice review! Does this allow you to edit the playlist on the device itself? example, delete songs and move them around into other folders?
+Frank T Hi Frank. No its not that advanced but you can just plug the unit into the pc and move the songs into different folders like on a hard drive. Nice and easy.

Cool video man.
How do I add memory? Does the card go all the way in? How do I make it read and can I leave it in and download directly to the card? Thanks
Hi Steve. Yes if you can do a video about how to obtain TH-cam music to this player and also how to upgrade the 8gb to 32gb. (I have the upgrade) I don't know a thing about how to operate this or any MP3 player. Your help would be greatly appreciated! :)
+Wesley Hay ill get this recorded in the next few days
Steve Homer
That would be great Steve! And I know it will help others who don't understand all a bout MP3's also!!

Everyone hates iTunes!
How do you download music from Internet to this AGPtEK?
I have one but don,t know how to put music on it.
+Lee Rome i will be doing a full feature i this MP3 player this week as i have had so many requests.

Can you use a kindle fire charger????
Yes you can use the same charger for your MP3 player as for your kindle I do it all the time.
Okay thanks I just got it so now I need to know how to get songs downloaded on to it :P
I have done a follow up video containing all the answers to the questions you have given. Check it out at th-cam.com/video/BrOzyqbF6Ks/w-d-xo.html
downside is you can only have 3 playlists

Apple's okay definitely iTunes is not the best for this terrible terrible terrible not real big fat Apple to be honest with you thumbs up
Chinglish ha lmao
Total rubbish! Bluetooth not connecting with anything! Loads of buyers have same problem! No answers anywhere!
