@@howtodraw5862 thanks for the query, I have not tested connecting the device to a laptop using a usb cable. So I think the input is just to supply power and would not transfer data. Nothing in the menus suggests it is possible either.
@stuzzy20091234 oh thanks so much to clarify this. Actually you saved me from doing a big mistake. I ordered rockstar audio player that supports mp3,m4a and all audio files and plays also avi videos. It has all other features like this one i.e. ebook, pic viewer, Bluetooth, fm, folder management, playlist. But the plus point is that we can also use that to transfer files directly without getting out sd card. Actually i was going to cancel that and order this one. But i'm glad i did not do so. I have a weird issue with my earbuds not playing at full volume. It plays without lag and the sound is clear, but it’s maybe at 20% of the potential volume. Happens with multiple earbuds too, I don’t know what is going on…
@ I did, found out the issue: it’s literally at 20% and I simply can’t use earbuds that don’t have their own volume control. I wonder why they chose 20 to be the “max” number but it is what it is…
Just trying one of these. I had to format the SD Card and lost the folder structure. Can anyone tell me the foldernames on the card please? I've got everything to work but ebooks.
@@KerryODonovan1995 oh no! Sorry you have run into this problem. You need to go through a process of elimination. Is the problem physical? Can you remove the card and give the connections a wipe with a dry cloth. Does work again when you reinsert the card into the unit? If that doesn’t work can you put the card into a laptop and access the files?
Thanks for the info, Steve. Just received mine and it works well. One thing... have you found a way to display Artist/Album on the Now Playing screen (if it is even possible)? Currently only displays the track name (ie - 01 - She Loves You.mp3).
@torchmark66 thanks. That's a great question and highlights a limitation I've found. No, I just see the song title too. I haven't discovered a way to see the artist or album context. You can only use the back button.

How many numbers it have to show volume. I have rockstar player its max is 20. And i feel its low. How much is yours? And is it also lower than an android or iphone?
@@howtodraw5862 the volume goes from 0 to 20. I assume that the volume scale is relative whether its 0 to 20 or 0 to 100, or whatever the numbers are. Each device has a maximum volume and the scale just represents what percentage of the output is being used.
@@stuzzy20091234 oh now i exactly understood how much sound this has. Infact rocckstar mp3 player is just the copy of it. Its volume line is blue color and it shows on right side of screen vertically.

@daphne4407 thanks 👍, no it doesn't seem to support playlists even though playlist files are copied to the microSD card. You can only play all, play artist or play album. Hope this helps.
@bumblebee.8 the thanks for the query, you have to use an antenna and I assume that means using wired earphones. It has 3 radio “bans”: normal, Japan and Europe. No idea what they mean. It has a scanning option or you can change the station number manually in small increments forwards and backwards. 6 stations are automatically memorized after scanning but not all of them gave me a station signal I could listen to, 2 were just static. Seems to offer FM only scanning from 86 to 105 MHZ. Signal changes as you move around, so best used when stationary.

@@dayanidhi9391 I don't have a Mac but I don't see why not. The player takes the microSD type cards, so you just need a method of copying MP3 files to the card.
HI STEVE, I bought this player from Amazon, and tried to understand how it works. Basically hoping to do the shuffle mode, which I ticked of. I find it keeps repeating songs even tho I checked shuffle. I have probably 125 or more songs, and am finding it will loop songs.. do you know how to correct this? Thank you for your time.
Hi Sandy @buckley1945 thanks for the sub 😀. Hope I can help. From music menu select play mode. Choose shuffle. It should display a tick by the side of it. It will return to the music menu after you choose the shuffle option. If you want to hear all songs shuffled choose All Songs from the menu. If you only want to shuffle songs by an Artist then choose the Artists from the menu and then pick an Artist. Or if you only want to shuffle all songs on an album choose Albums and then choose an album title. What I have noticed is that the shuffle function shuffles the list of songs again each time it moves on. This means theoretically you can end up hearing a song you just listened to again. This didn’t happen to me but it did play the same song multiple times after a random number of other songs. It’s a bit weird, I thought shuffle would play songs in a random order but not play the same song more than once until all songs in the list had been played. It doesn’t work like this though. I hope I’ve answered your question but please ask me to clarify anything if it’s not clear.
My car has no USB port, only a 3.5mm AUX. I tried using a cigarette lighter USB adapter I already had to charge it in my car, but it didn't work for some reason. Do you know if there's an adapter like that I can buy to make it work? I want to be able to charge it in my car, because I want to keep the player and charger in the car at all times. If I take it in the house to charge it, it's easy to forget the player, or the charging cord, when I take off somewhere.

Thank you so much for this review! I got this mp3 for chirstmas and i've been trying to figure out how to set the track numbers. On my past mp3 i just had them in the file and the mp3 was able to detect that and ordered my album by track listing. I haven't been able to figure out how to do that on this one yet and it's becoming my biggest issue with this mp3, any solutions or things i might be doing wrong?
Hi @Nether_Bees I think the track order is taken from the file name. If your tracks have filenames that start 01, 02, 03 etc. I believe they will be played in that order. I use software that enables me to rename files when the music files are copied across from my hard drive to the micro USB card. My files are stored like this Playlist name > files > artist name > album name > disk number > songs each starting with the track number. So 04 Sin After Sin appears before 07 Stay. The software I use is Foobar2000 and I use a component called One Way Synch to copy the files and in this I have this command files\%artist%\%album%\%discnumber%\%tracknumber% %title%.$ext(%_path%) which includes tracknumber as you can see. Mine was working perfectly fine up until a week ago. I have had it for almost a year without a glitch and suddenly, it died and it is not charging at all. I have tried everything without success... is there a way to reset it? Thanks for your time.
I would contact the manufacturer and you may be sent a replacement. The battery has a limit in terms of power recycles. The only reset I can see requires the unit to be on.
Same thing happened to me. I recharged it for 24 hrs and still no sign of life. I pressed the buttons on either side at the same time for a while not expecting anything to happen, when all of a sudden it went on again!
When I try to add a song to favorites, it does not stay there. Any idea why or what I am doing wrong? I have not been able to pair it either but I will try again.
I found favourites are saved and still exist after turning the device on and off. I save a favourite by this method: when playing a song I open the menu (3 lines) and choose Add to playlist. The heart that was just an outline is now filled in a red colour. I turn device off and on. From the default screen open the menu and choose favourites and the track is there. It's odd that when playing the track it's referred to as playlist but from the menu it's called favourites. Hope this helps?
This MP3 player is identical in every way to the ZOOAOXO. Both claim to have Bluetooth connectivity, which they do but it is extremely weak, at leat when it comes to using wireless earbuds. I have the latter player. I get dropout when I move the player around. I get drop out when I don't move it around. If I put the player in my pocket, it disconnects. I have tried the same headphones in other Bluetooth devices and proved that the problem isn't with the buds. These players are, saying all that, constructed very well. The casings are metal as against cheap plastic. Its a shame they let themselves down with the connectivity. There are cheaper, both in orice and construction, makes that have better BT connectivity.
@@Barney29508 I haven't looked at the Zooaoxo player myself but yeah, easily possible it's the same kit. The BT connectivity is shockingly poor I agree. I have to pop it in my shirt pocket with wireless earphones, it drops out when in my jeans pocket.
What directory am I supposed to put my music files? I try adding them to D:\Music in their various album folders, but when the MP3 player scans for tracks, it gets to 100%, then starts over again only to freeze at 4% forever. I can play individual songs if I navigate to them from "Folders" but I lose access to any of the music playback features. I appreciate your help.
On the TF card (MicroSD) I have a DBROOT folder that I don't touch, I leave that one as is. At the same level, I have another folder called New Stuff then a subfolder called Files and then I have folders for band names and within those folders for albums and in those are the song files. I use software called Foobar2000 which has a component called One Way Synch that copies the files for me. I called the folder New Stuff because it just has music from 2022 and 2023. I don't know what's going on with yours but you could do a format and factory reset maybe? You could try it with a new blank card as a last resort. All the best sorting it out my friend.
I just got one and its pretty straightforward and easy to use. I cannot for the life of me get some of the audio I transferred to it organised though. On my PC i have created a folder and dropped parts 1-47 in sequence in to it. I passed it to the players SD card and on the player all folders look good but when I go in to them the parts are all in there randomly so not in sequence. When I attach the player to the PC and open the folders they show in sequence but when opened on the player they are all over the place in the folder. Very frustrating

@user-pm6gj3tf3x you can copy files from the folder where your iTunes library is to an external drive - you can find the folder in your iTunes settings. The default file type when you purchase from the iTunes store is ACC and this has DRM (anti-copying technology). I use software from Aimersoft.com to remove DRM and convert these files to MP3. I also changed the default CD ripping file type in iTunes to MP3. If you want CD quality audio from MP3 files, the recommended bit rate is 192kbps instead of the default 128kbps. I mainly use 128kbps however, because with my audio equipment I can't really tell the difference (I listen mainly using earpods or headphones). Once you have the files on an external drive and have converted all the ACC files to MP3 you're good to go and have a portable music library that you can manage with different music library software. Hope this helps?
You might have to stick with a wired connection for reliability. I have hit and miss success with Bluetooth. It works well with one of my speakers but doesn’t connect at all with another and when I try to use Bluetooth earbuds I get one connected but no sound in the other.
@Jeffrey-oi9fn I've experienced something similar recently when using some Bluetooth sports earphones, the music would cut in and out when I had the MP3 player in my pocket. Bringing the MP3 player closer to the Bluetooth transmitter on the earphones worked. Not a great solution but maybe indicates you could try putting the MP3 player in a higher shirt pocket so it is closer to the source of transmission? (Or try different head/earphones).

I have a named folder sat on my computer with 7 tracks, all named. They are MP3s created from old CDs. When I drag and drop the folder to the TF card and reinsert into MP3. In the artist selection my folder shows up as "unknow" In Albums, the 7 tracks are split between an album with the right name (2 songs) and the other 5 songs in an album called "Unknow" Any idea why the artists name is not being kept, why songs are being scattered Also, can I move the songs around once in the MP3 player
@rajberisings I use Foobar2000 software with a third party component called One Way Synch to transfer my files to the TF card. The files transfer into a separate folder for each artist and within that a separate folder for each album. I don't think the folders matter too much though, what does matter is that the MP3 has metadata that describes the file. I add missing metadata using Foobar2000 but when CD ripping the software looks on the internet to add metadata automatically. You may need to add metadata manually before you transfer the files to the TF card. You can also do this in Windows Explorer if you're on PC and there is probably an equivalent on Mac, depending on what you use.
Hi @MrBushLife I haven't timed it precisely but to give you a very rough estimate I'd say I left it about 4 hours and it was fully charged by the time I picked it up again.
When I transfer music from my ITunes music library (stored on my mac) to my Aimoonsa MP3 player, for almost all of the songs, it doesn't transfer the artist or album name. So when I look click on the "Music" module on the Aimoonsa, it shows an "unknown" folder for the artist and all the songs I have are listed there - meaning I can't go to an artist and play their songs, which is something I would like to do. Do you know how I get the songs to transfer over in such a way that when I click on the Music module on the MP3 player, it actually shows music by artist and doesn't lump all of the songs into an "unknown" artist folder?

Over the years I’ve acquired music encoded in different formats and some files just don’t have the metadata I would expect. As an example, I’ve been digitising my vinyl into FLAC files but then I’ve had to add metadata manually in Audacity for artists and albums to be recognised in the Aimoonsa MP3 player. I use Foobar2000 (not iTunes) but it’s easy enough to add metadata to the files in question. I think this is the way to resolve the unknown list.
I just got one and added a ton of music to it . The majority transferred OK but 32 Albums ended up as "Unknown" . I think part of the problem may be in the way I downloaded them ( as part of a discography) But tha😅 just a hunch
@@kenunger1669 adding the metadata manually is a pain but sometimes necessary if you want a manageable collection. 32 albums is not insignificant but is doable.
The navigation is basic but the cost is so low something has to give somewhere. There are definitely some questionable design decisions that's for sure.

When I try to add a song to favorites, it does not stay there. Any idea why or what I am doing wrong? I have not been able to pair it either but I will try again.
I found favourites are saved and still exist after turning the device on and off. I save a favourite by this method: when playing a song I open the menu (3 lines) and choose Add to playlist. The heart that was just an outline is now filled in a red colour. I turn device off and on. From the default screen open the menu and choose favourites and the track is there. It's odd that when playing the track it's referred to as playlist but from the menu it's called favourites. Hope this helps?

This MP3 player is identical in every way to the ZOOAOXO.
Both claim to have Bluetooth connectivity, which they do but it is extremely weak, at leat when it comes to using wireless earbuds.
I have the latter player. I get dropout when I move the player around. I get drop out when I don't move it around. If I put the player in my pocket, it disconnects.
I have tried the same headphones in other Bluetooth devices and proved that the problem isn't with the buds.
These players are, saying all that, constructed very well. The casings are metal as against cheap plastic.
Its a shame they let themselves down with the connectivity.
There are cheaper, both in orice and construction, makes that have better BT connectivity.
@@Barney29508 I haven't looked at the Zooaoxo player myself but yeah, easily possible it's the same kit. The BT connectivity is shockingly poor I agree. I have to pop it in my shirt pocket with wireless earphones, it drops out when in my jeans pocket.
What directory am I supposed to put my music files? I try adding them to D:\Music in their various album folders, but when the MP3 player scans for tracks, it gets to 100%, then starts over again only to freeze at 4% forever.
I can play individual songs if I navigate to them from "Folders" but I lose access to any of the music playback features. I appreciate your help.
On the TF card (MicroSD) I have a DBROOT folder that I don't touch, I leave that one as is. At the same level, I have another folder called New Stuff then a subfolder called Files and then I have folders for band names and within those folders for albums and in those are the song files. I use software called Foobar2000 which has a component called One Way Synch that copies the files for me. I called the folder New Stuff because it just has music from 2022 and 2023. I don't know what's going on with yours but you could do a format and factory reset maybe? You could try it with a new blank card as a last resort. All the best sorting it out my friend.
I just got one and its pretty straightforward and easy to use. I cannot for the life of me get some of the audio I transferred to it organised though. On my PC i have created a folder and dropped parts 1-47 in sequence in to it. I passed it to the players SD card and on the player all folders look good but when I go in to them the parts are all in there randomly so not in sequence. When I attach the player to the PC and open the folders they show in sequence but when opened on the player they are all over the place in the folder. Very frustrating
@aidenoleary7406 I think the track order is taken from the file name. If your tracks have filenames that start 01, 02, 03 etc. I believe they will be played in that order. I use software that enables me to rename files when the music files are copied across from my hard drive to the micro USB card. My files are stored like this Playlist name > files > artist name > album name > disk number > songs each starting with the track number. So 04 Sin After Sin appears before 07 Stay. The software I use is Foobar2000 and I use a component called One Way Synch to copy the files and in this I have this command files\%artist%\%album%\%discnumber%\%tracknumber% %title%.$ext(%_path%) which includes tracknumber as you can see. How does one download music from itunes? Is it even possible?
@user-pm6gj3tf3x you can copy files from the folder where your iTunes library is to an external drive - you can find the folder in your iTunes settings. The default file type when you purchase from the iTunes store is ACC and this has DRM (anti-copying technology). I use software from Aimersoft.com to remove DRM and convert these files to MP3. I also changed the default CD ripping file type in iTunes to MP3. If you want CD quality audio from MP3 files, the recommended bit rate is 192kbps instead of the default 128kbps. I mainly use 128kbps however, because with my audio equipment I can't really tell the difference (I listen mainly using earpods or headphones). Once you have the files on an external drive and have converted all the ACC files to MP3 you're good to go and have a portable music library that you can manage with different music library software. Hope this helps?

Bluetooth won't stay connected. Put it in my pocket while cutting crass and it cuts in and out when I move. What am I doing wrong?
You might have to stick with a wired connection for reliability. I have hit and miss success with Bluetooth. It works well with one of my speakers but doesn’t connect at all with another and when I try to use Bluetooth earbuds I get one connected but no sound in the other.
@Jeffrey-oi9fn I've experienced something similar recently when using some Bluetooth sports earphones, the music would cut in and out when I had the MP3 player in my pocket. Bringing the MP3 player closer to the Bluetooth transmitter on the earphones worked. Not a great solution but maybe indicates you could try putting the MP3 player in a higher shirt pocket so it is closer to the source of transmission? (Or try different head/earphones).

Hi @jonolmer I’ll try a proper continuous test of this over the next day or so. For me so far I’ve been happy that it lasts several days of intermittent use. I wonder whether using Bluetooth reduces battery life but don’t have any data on that yet.

I have a named folder sat on my computer with 7 tracks, all named. They are MP3s created from old CDs. When I drag and drop the folder to the TF card and reinsert into MP3.
In the artist selection my folder shows up as "unknow"
In Albums, the 7 tracks are split between an album with the right name (2 songs) and the other 5 songs in an album called "Unknow"
Any idea why the artists name is not being kept, why songs are being scattered
Also, can I move the songs around once in the MP3 player
@rajberisings I use Foobar2000 software with a third party component called One Way Synch to transfer my files to the TF card. The files transfer into a separate folder for each artist and within that a separate folder for each album. I don't think the folders matter too much though, what does matter is that the MP3 has metadata that describes the file. I add missing metadata using Foobar2000 but when CD ripping the software looks on the internet to add metadata automatically. You may need to add metadata manually before you transfer the files to the TF card. You can also do this in Windows Explorer if you're on PC and there is probably an equivalent on Mac, depending on what you use.
Can you adjust sound settings with bass treble or graphic equalisers? Will my stereo headphones work on this?
Hi there, it has an EQ feature based on genres of music but you can't set up your own. Headphones will work fine.

Hi @MrBushLife I haven't timed it precisely but to give you a very rough estimate I'd say I left it about 4 hours and it was fully charged by the time I picked it up again.
When I transfer music from my ITunes music library (stored on my mac) to my Aimoonsa MP3 player, for almost all of the songs, it doesn't transfer the artist or album name. So when I look click on the "Music" module on the Aimoonsa, it shows an "unknown" folder for the artist and all the songs I have are listed there - meaning I can't go to an artist and play their songs, which is something I would like to do. Do you know how I get the songs to transfer over in such a way that when I click on the Music module on the MP3 player, it actually shows music by artist and doesn't lump all of the songs into an "unknown" artist folder?
Thanks for the question. I have noticed some of my music is in an unknown list as well. I will need to look into it further, I need to check which albums they are and what metadata they have.

Over the years I’ve acquired music encoded in different formats and some files just don’t have the metadata I would expect. As an example, I’ve been digitising my vinyl into FLAC files but then I’ve had to add metadata manually in Audacity for artists and albums to be recognised in the Aimoonsa MP3 player. I use Foobar2000 (not iTunes) but it’s easy enough to add metadata to the files in question. I think this is the way to resolve the unknown list.
I just got one and added a ton of music to it . The majority transferred OK but 32 Albums ended up as "Unknown" . I think part of the problem may be in the way I downloaded them ( as part of a discography) But tha😅 just a hunch
@@kenunger1669 adding the metadata manually is a pain but sometimes necessary if you want a manageable collection. 32 albums is not insignificant but is doable.
This player is a mess. It simply doesn't navigate.
The navigation is basic but the cost is so low something has to give somewhere. There are definitely some questionable design decisions that's for sure.
