ROR Rule 15/16 17 when in a crossing situation action by give way and standon vessel.

In this delivery there is a mistake , in explanation of rule 17.
I "SHALL" maintain course and speed with caution.
In the first instance I "MAY" take action if it become s apparent that the action by the give way vessel in not appropriate .
(If action is an a/c I "SHALL NOT " alter course to port for a vessel on my port bow )
I "SHALL " take ANY action if risk of collision can not be avoided by the give way vessel alone .
This "DOES NOT" relieve obligation of the give way vessel.Description

Yes , you must sound. 5 or more short blasts to is taste you are unsure or the other vessels intentions ... Only then MAY you take action under rule 17 (understanding that you shall not alter course to port for a vessel crossing on your port bow...
