Remember that the rule say that it' s preferable to not go to port for a vessel on portside, but you are still allowed to do so. (I had this rule on my oral exam for the OOW)
So if we are PDV and another vessel is RAM or CBD or NUC - it doesnt say we cant alter to port, coz this sub-paragraph only applied when both vessels are same status - power-driven vessel , right???

The give-way vessel has the stand-on vessel to starboard side.
Give a way vessel is seeing right side of another ship . Right ?
The one that has other on the starboard side is a give way vessel. The one that has other on the port side is a stand on vessel.
