I used to play D&D over 40 years ago, and I remember one time we decided as a group to just stay in the village pub and eat and drink...no adventuring. The DM was mad at first, but then we just made a night of no fighting and potions etc, just sitting around and talking to the local villager NPCs.

lmao for real. i have over 1,000 hours put into skyrim and i’ve never completed that dumb ass quest. on my newer play throughs i just avoided the stones completely.
Maaaaaannnn!!! When I saw how many I had to find, I said, “I’ll just grab them as they show up!” I never actively looked for them!
I've replayed skyrim more than 20 times and I have (and will) never complete that quest.
I only got 15 out of 24(25?). Most of them I found by pure coincidence since I don't have the mental patience nor even the desire to scour all of Skyrim for flipping jewelry...a man's (High Elf, for me) time is best elsewhere.
