Good day out, despite the result (I predicted a 1-1). I thought the U's played well and gave as much as they could. Mark Bonner walking out to applaud us before the game was a great touch. As far as hearing the Posh fans, I could occasionally hear the mob to our right and the fans down the other end, but only providing it was quiet enough in our end. It was only when all 3 of the home stands did the "When the Posh go steaming in" chant that they were really noticeable. It was a hostile environment, but not too intimidating for me (I've been to the Belgrade Derby...just to brag a little). Up the U's 💛🖤
To be honest your ground is like a mixture between ours and Ipswich. Both our grounds have bad home ends that don’t let noise and new away ends. Yours is just bigger
