You Brits have an amazing level of support for lower-tier teams unique to anywhere else in the world. Love from Brazil!
You should look into Germany too, I’m French and I don’t like praising them but they have some insane support in Division 3 and below. The Regional Nordost league has more passion than a lot of D1 leagues in the world imo.
Lovely comment. I would love to visit Brazil for a football match one day!
@@stuntpeggnieve Come over and I will show you Maracanã, there's definitely not a European equivalent. Love from a Fluminense and Dulwich Hamlet FC supporter!
@@vincenta1382 As someone who supports a team from the regionalliga nordost, i really have to agree. Although it is only the 4th tier, there are alot of amazing and historic teams in there.
American sports fans need to learn from this
I love the fact that your videos just don't focus on the big boys. Proper videos for proper fans, thank you.
the videos kinda do just focus on the big boys though, they almost never cover the national league let alone anything below that. The FA Trophy and FA Vase both go to wembley and are for smaller sides this year it was Gateshead Vs Solihull Moors and Great Wakering Rovers Vs Romford which would fit this title significantly better and you get to watch 2 games in a day for significantly cheaper and the level of football is still class. Glad they cover the rest of the leagues but
Your personal style of journalism on football works so well with your humor and level of knowledge on the game. Love your videos.
Casually having a few words with David Seaman... Allmost as legendary as his own mustache!
Spunky!
And Akinfenwa spitting out some facts there.
Which clearly has gone awol. I wondered who he was for a second. ;)
i met him. One of the nice blokes in footy! so down to earth
Just casually dropping a small interview with David Seaman and Akinfenwa too. The production value of these videos are fantastic.
More football knowledge than the whole of talksport
TalkSport? More like TalkS*ite, can’t compare.
Definitely ! Well siad !
Easy
Ughhhh!
the level of support of lower leagues and lower teams that you have in england it's just amazing. i love it , we don't have something like this in italy. Love your work Nieve!
I love your use of music in these documentary style videos, great work!
Thank you!
I do too and hope the meanies don’t come down on you any time soon.
She's mentioned it before, but for whatever reason, this is the video that truly convinced me that StuntPegg is actually quite tall.
her pov while interviewing the player makes it look like theyre basically the same height so yeah pretty tall
True..but then she may stand on a box.. just to show off
Love the jeans
I initially thought she was a giant when I saw her place that ball on the car ;p
Tall and beautiful great combo, nice legs.
We’ve still got my late grandad’s rosette from when bristol city won the freight rovers trophy in 1986. They beat Bolton 3-0. My grandad supported bristol city his whole life and i know it meant a lot for him to see them finally win a trophy at Wembley. I was too young to go but he was very excited when he got back and proudly hung up the rosette to look at for the rest of his life. This tournament means a lot to smaller clubs and their fans.
Glad to see my local team Wycombe Wanderers get featured in one form or another, I was at Wembley that day and even if the result didn't go our way, it was a nice day out. Great video as always :))
Hopefully back at it next year. A day at Wembley is always enjoyable. 👍
Day out to Wembley is always nice. Not like the pizza cup matter anyway
A lot of people dump on the Bristol Stret Motors/Checkatrade/Paint? Trophy, but as a Coventry City fan, it felt so incredibly important to us a few years ago and congratulations to posh for their win. For us personally it was the start of a new era and seeing half of the stadium decked out in sky blue was a memory I'll never forget.
The lower leagues of England have some incredible support and days like this show it.
More memories to be made on Sunday and beyond! PUSB!
@@alastairnicolson4992 Exactly! No matter what to be at Wembley for the fourth time in 7 years is incredible. PUSB!
Stuntpeg you keep raising your game in terms of content and production values. Best football youtube channel, bar none!
The most underrated channel on TH-cam, more like it. Great stuff!
I will never forget flying to London (from the States) for the FA Trophy final at Wembley in May of 2008. This was back when Ebbsfleet United was owned by the online group MyFootballClub. Ebbsfleet United 1-0 Torquay United. It's an amazing feeling to be there in person.
Being on the winning side at Wembley is a unique experience. Losing, though is horrible. Another eminently watchable video from the brilliant Nieve.
I joke about being scarred by watching Fulham lose to West Ham in the '75 Cup Final but actually...it's no joke, it still hurts. ( Especially as Fulham still haven't won anything - ever!)
@@robinbarwick8473 Seen my team (Southend United) lose in finals twice at the Millennium stadium when Wembley was being refurbished. As you say, it still hurts.
It's not unique to win, someone wins every match at Wembley in domestic football and someone loses.
proper channel this one, informative, entertaining, no clickbait and top quality production.
Went to watch all my teams group games...spurs u21. They were in colchester, Cambridge and eventual champs Peterborough. They were class on the night and took home the big prize. Well done Peterborough.
There will never be anything more attractive and appealing in England than its football culture. Need to visit when I can someday :)
Thank you Nieve for covering the importance of the EFL Trophy and what it means to the League one and two and academy clubs, your doing amazing :)
hurrah for new StuntPegg
Your videos are excellent with such wide diverse coverage from top to bottom of the sport. Thank you for what and all you do.
Brilliant as always, your videos always make me emotional in my opinion they perfectly encapsulate what football is about and why it is beloved by millions of people around the world. Thank you for all that you do.
I just want say a big thank you to Nieve for covering lower league football. My team Fulham spent years down there but I preferred those years to the premiership. Proper fans, proper football and I watch all of it still. I follow all the way through down to the National League South and beyond. Watching some of the battles for promotion and relegation has been great to see this season, and the standard of football and support just keeps getting better and better. Commiserations to Wycombe who've always been a great club and congratulations to Peterbrough for the win.
david seaman class is eternal!
never forget the sideburns
Great video as always. You’ve really perfected your style recently of this quasi vlog/documentary! Also great to see Caiden get a little feature. Known him for a number of years and his channel is top notch!
I must say I absolutely love your channel, while I watch a lot of tactical videos of big matches played by big clubs, nothing beats videos like these that show the passion and support for smaller / local clubs, it feels beautiful
StuntPegg is starting to make her way up the Media ladder - which I am very pleased about as she knows what she is taking about and very watchable.
What a wonderful work of human sports journalism! You are really great. Greetings from Portugal.
Love what you're doing Nieve. Top class as always.
Thank you Stuntpegg for covering tournament and and your excellent professional commentary, You could not show action but none the less, you made interviews.
YOU are a PRO for the future !
stuntpegg is the best soccer channel to get the full continuum of the english game, no doubt...as always, thanks!
Beautiful and very talented. I predict big things for this lass. Another great video!
To me she is already big. In fact, she is a giant when it comes to bringing insights about the football culture.
Yes quite pretty.
Thanks for your coverage during the season, as a Brentford fan I completely identify with everything at lower league level, including not winning every iteration of this trophy….more please….
HerzyBee
Love this girl, so knowledgeable, should be a commentator.
I don't think so. Reporter is her true calling. It probably doesn't get better than her current format.
Thanks for covering this, amazing
My team Birmingham City have won this competition twice. On both occasions we took over 50,000 of our own fans there. There’s no other cup tournament at Wembley where you can have so many of your own fans. I think the FA Cup final is about 30,000 for each club. The atmosphere was amazing. We weren’t too bothered about the result, it was more about just enjoying the day being able to watch our team play in a cup final at Wembley.
Brilliant, Bob. I felt the same with my team Bolton last year, didn’t quite take as many as you guys but we took big numbers, took over London for the day and it was all over tv and social media how good we were, that meant as much as actually winning the cup. Was so proud.
The interviews with David Seaman and Akinfenwa were a pleasant surprise. Great music, great vox pops, great use of the wall chart to illustrate the format. Brilliant video
I love your analysis and I enjoy the BSM more than most! Very happy for Posh as well, had a soft spot for them for a few years now! Hope you’re doing ok Nieve!
Stockport fan here. It WAS a great tournament.. The Prem U21/U23/Academies' should be know where near it.
If the prem clubs want to "develop" players then loan them out. Not jump onto an EFL compertition.
Exactly, stopping teams actually in that league by beating then in the group stage, absolute joke and needs stopping.
Yes mate. Scab cup now.
Great to see that it highlights about trophies that we only see the name of but never understood it.
nice to see you getting chance to interview players now too both active and retired. well done Peterborough United.
I find it hard to understand why, with your obvious knowledge and understanding about the game, and the way you approach and appreciate communication of the bigger stories in the better side of football, that you arent on the big screen, im an Irishman from a small town in Ireland, but i have to tell you im in awe of your obvious talent well done🇮🇪🇮🇪👍
Brilliant again Nieve. As a Plymouth fan I'm glad we've moved on from last year and thanks for not mentioning the score😂
Yank here. I love these videos so much. This passion reminds me so much of our college football. It has to be the closest thing America has to English football.
Eww
I was there in 2019 for the EFL Trophy final we lost on penalties to Portsmouth I was supposed to go 2 years later in 2021 but Boris Johnson said no would of loved to go and see Sunderland lift that trophy
I've been to two of these finals, both won (Blackpool) but they were at Cardiff during the period Wembley was being rebuilt. The second one was with the roof closed, which was an unusual experience. I hope you get to play off finals this year, they really are matches which crackle with tension!
StuntPegg is great - it's not a lot of fancy editing and fluff. Just a girl a phone-ish camera and mic and she's got a great knack for picking really interesting subject matter. I think she's a lot of fun.
Your documenting is top notch! keep it up
Saw Burrows cross to nobody and started thinking about extra time, pens, and whether we'd manage to get the later train back. Then it went in. Cheered so hard I had to sit down. Outrageous goal and a great day out.
Looks like you were sitting opposite where my father and I were; another great video.
Brilliant content; excellent presentation. Enjoyed that. Ps: well done Peterborough a SWFC fan ;)
Thanks. Will our teams be playing each other again next season?
@@rafd3593/Not in league one I hope!
@@robertchappell4296 In The Championship I hope 🤞
Yesss I was there and saw you're pre match video. Great vlog Nieve, well done! 🙂
It's always great to see lower leagues getting brilliant representation, hopefully there's plenty of opportunities for Wycombe next season. What an atmosphere both sides brought to Wembley!
This video is now linked in the description of my Wembley vlog 👍
love this focus on non-premier league football, great to see 🙌 you should come and pay a visit to buxton one day, my local team with the highest football ground in england
Absolutely brilliant video, thank you for sharing. This could just as easily have been made by ITV or the BBC, great work!!
As a fellow Boltonian, Nieve, I am quite frankly slightly disappointed that you didn't point at Seaman's hair & ask "Come on, Dave...what's going on?" (Great vid as ever by the way.)
Ha ha, love it ! Nieve would get awy with it too !
No mention of the fact that Bristol City were the only team to win this three times, and the last team to win it before the Prem foisted its B-Teams on it and caused a revolt in attendances.
StuntPegg: where charm, wit, insight, and humor meet highly polished, produced, and gripping stories and media. Love it.
Some people snigger at the EFL trophy but what a day out it is at Wembley. Once in a lifetime never mind for a lower league club. Proud to say I was there for Wycombe
Absolutely, I had the joy of Bolton winning it last year too. Nothing beats a day out at Wembley (especially when it’s sunny!)
Your videos are great. They're entertaining and informative. You cover a wide selection of football topics. And, icing on the cake, you inject some humour.
Well done, Posh. As a Rangers fan living in Wycombe I stopped going to Adams Park when WW organised their 'Celtic Day' when Lambert was manager. Petty, bitter and tribal? Absolutely!
😂 Posh fan here with a Celtic supporting father!
I thought for a moment that the bloke who was the bent copper “Dot Cotton” in Line of Duty had let himself go a bit then I realised it was Dave Seaman sans the tache! Great work as always Nieve x
Actually i watched the whole final that day, last 15 minutes was lit. Congratulations Peterborough united.
Its awhile since ive been to Wembley long gone are those stantions if you got stuck behind one it could ruin your view.the new Wembley looks great close up.
Why are you not on the telly. I love the stuff you do covering the spectrum of English football. Your research is spot on, and your delivery is brilliant.
I hope she stays on YT. I would hate to see her journalistic freedom be curtailed by telly networks. I would love to contribute directly via Patreon or something like that.
Really enjoyed the editing on this one, your content has really kicked on recently.
Kicked on ! Wot ?? Its always been top notch !
As an American, this is honestly so beautiful to witness the love you guys have for this sport. So much more than just the game and I love it
Another brilliant episode! Thank you.
This is one of your best videos yet, just fantastic!!
Watched Rotherham win this cup a couple of seasons ago. We played Sutton, and Paul Chuckle and Tim Vine (fans of each club) brought out the match ball on Papa Johns (the then sponsor) delivery mopeds.
It was incredible, and gave me one of my favorite games.
aint seen your videos for ages, well done Peterborough on this win, and Peg, your looking beautiful
Thanks for the upload! 😀

I was there, my first trip to Wembley! I love this video UTP!
It amazed me the level of support for there is for the lower leagues and the amount of talent that was showcased by both teams. Future is bright. Also Up the Posh!
Congratulations Posh!
Actually LOL'd at your opening (and several times throughout). Great humour, great soundtrack and great journalism as always!
Great to see you Live on Saturday Social! Awesome... Nice One!
The only downside of the EFL Trophy is the inclusion of the u21 teams. If they got rid of them and made it back to LG1 and LG2, it would benefit
An interesting point to note about the group stages, is that the academy sides play all their games away from home. This means that the EFL sides play 2 at home, and one away.
I think that the most proudest person in that stadium is you, Nieve. You've come a long way, and that makes me proud of you.🎉 Thanks, as always, for the great content.
I wished you crossed paths with La Media Inglesa there, they're a spanish channel about english football, and they went with around 250 people all the way from Spain to support Wycombe, english football its truly special
I’m from Australia and a Swansea fan, I loved watching them in the cup final in Cardiff beating Carlisle 2-1 back in 2006
We invite you to Poland, to Poznań on May 17 for the Polish classic Lech Poznań - Legia Warszawa. Sportswise, both teams are not in the best shape, but from the fans' point of view it will be one of the best matches in the world. Tickets were sold out 3.5 weeks before the match. The opponent's fans will also show up in the maximum possible number and it will be a match full of fantastic support and great visuals.
As a former Rutlander, this warms the odd cockle of me heart. Chuffin 'eck, most folk were rugby people in Oakham, and the rest tended to support the Foxes, but I do know a family that had come over from Peterborough that were definitely all for the Posh. Congrats!
I've watched all of your videos, absolutely amazing.
Yet another brilliant video Nieve, love the way you cover days like that which mean the world to clubs and fans in our lower leagues.Well done Posh and as a West Brom fan will be enjoying Wembley Stadium myself in July
.........................Watching "The Boss" Bruce Springsteen 😂😂😂😂😂❤
Posh fan here going to the 25 July “Boss” gig at Wembley - a bucket list item. Enjoy.
16th time for us,you'll love it.Enjoy
I have stopped going to matches in this competition since they introduced academy teams into it. I won't go to the final even if my team makes the final at Wembley.
American here - still learning the intracacies of club football. This channel is quickly making me more attached to clubs below the Premier League.
Also an American -- the Premier League is plastic, a TV spectacle like WWE and the NFL. The lower tier leagues are where the heart and soul of football is really to be found. I've been following a lot of non-league, Welsh Premier League, USL and German 3rd and 4th division football and the leagues are a lot less predictable, with a greater variety of teams vying for titles and battling to avoid relegation.
Hey is there any chance you could make a video about the situation at Gateshead FC and how the council is preventing them from reaching league football. Would be great for someone with a large audience to raise awareness of what’s happening for non league clubs. Thanks
I think I have a crush on StuntPegg
it is a fine line between joy and heartbreak. Congratulations Peterborough.
I know about this trophy because of playing career mode in fifa/eafc and starting my club from league two
Thanks for making my day........already waiting for the next video!! ⚽⚽⚽
Great video , favourite elbow track as well
You are a superstar. Content is top top top level and your vibe is so refreshing. Keep being you.
Absolutely made my day this comment, how lovely, thank you so much!
Someone I went to school with plays CB for Peterborough , big up Edward’s!
They’ve got to bin off the academies from this and add some Conference clubs back in
Was in Wembley for the 2022 final of this watching my Millers win 4-2 in extra time after equalizing in stoppage time. At Wembley, seen us lose in 90, win in 120 and win on pens. It’s great. Everyone says it’s Mickey Mouse. When it’s their team, 20,000 - 40,000 go. I hope it lasts as a competition.
Another great video Nieve. Your coverage of lower league teams is amazing and you capture the occasion brilliantly 😊
Calgary White (LUFC) calling...another brilliant, humble and insightful piece Stuntpegg!
Keep this up, and you'll have a big production soon. Amazing content
Harrison is a Posh legend, and has won the EFL League One best player of the season. He, along with Ronnie Edwards (EFL League One best young player of the season) and Ephron Mason-Clark, has been a joy to watch.
Such a young side but like you say, it’s been a total joy to see. Seem like a real down to earth bunch of guys too.
