I am using thus fir a 5 day stay in costa rica I'm a bit confused if how it works still. I would mostly use for social media I was told to turn off data is there anything else I should know im afraid of unnecessary fees and am not phone savvy at all.
This service doesn’t not work. Very disappointed with AT&T. It sounds so easy, so I enrolled in and got confirmation from AT&T. But I’m now in Vietnam without any service because the international day plan is not working. I’m left with no phone service.
Hi is there still roaming charges with this plan when in Europe? And how can we avoid roaming charges does a notification pop up when roaming overseas ? Thank you 😊
Not bad AT&T....I went to Dominican Republic a few months ago and I had Visible wireless, and even though they don't offer international roaming, they do offer WiFi calling, and I was able to make and receive calls from the US no issues as long as I was connected. I eventually switched to Simple Mobile and not only do they offer WiFi calling, but also they have included international roaming to 200+ countries, and D.R. just happens to be one of them. I went back a few weeks ago, and my Simple Mobile service was shaking everywhere. I pay 125 for 4 lines of unlimited service.
From what i been told by AT&T, it is cap for 10 days each billing period. So for example, if you use 20 days. Your first bill will be charge for $100. The next bill you will be charge for the rest of the $100.
Hubby and I are going to Germany for vacation and we asked AT&T what is the best International plan they can give us. The lady we spoke inside AT&T offer us $15 a month each person. I need to go back one more time and ask again if this $15 dollars a month or $15 a day
We have the International Day Pass on our phones automatically, but when we go to England, our phones don't work and we have to link to someone's wifi. Is there some button to push or switch to flip that we don't know about....or is it just supposed to work automatically?
@MobileInternetResourceCenter im going to japan, if i pay for these day passes, do i ALSO need to buy any kind of personal mobile internet modem-like device to do things like google search? or will i be able to connect to internet regardless of where i am in japan?
All depends on how you want to access the internet.. via your phone? phone's hotspot? or a dedicated device. More here: www.rvmobileinternet.com/cellular-devices
Only if there are cell towers there (rarely when ‘out to sea’ - perhaps a small island) and the country is included in AT&Ts international partner list.

If i use AT and T international day pass for 20 days in a billing cycle, do i pay 100$ in one billing cycle and then an other 100$ in another billing cycle for a total of 200$? That is what all the AT and T customer service agents in Philippines seem to be saying. I thought i would be charged 100$ for the 1st 10 day usage and the next 10 would be free all together!
@@MobileInternetResourceCenter I am using it for 20 days within a SINGLE billing cycle. How much should i get charged in total across billing cycles? 100 or 200?
Not true. You will be charged for each day, but it will be capped at $100 per billing cycle. So if you used it 15 days in on cycle, you will be charged $100 for that ona plus $50 in the next one.
Some of their flagship postpaid data plans do include 5-15GB of high speed international data per month. Data passes are available if your needs are higher.
This video is almost a year old, but looking at the terms on AT&T's website, it does not appear that anything has changed. What specifically is incorrect with this video?
Thank you so much for making this video! I activated this a couple of weeks ago but it was too good to be true; it's very nice to see that you confirmed what I read :-)

Interesting ATT data didn’t work for me in DR punta Cana
Did you can receive all text and opt code from bank too??how you can do that?
They up the price to $12 per day now. Because of that, I switch over to T-Mobile.

Only if your usage is split over two billing periods.
If you travel within the days of your bill cycle, you only have to pay Max 100$.
Planning to travel outside the country in 2 weeks from now. Should we sign up this now or wait until the day before leaving the country?
You should make sure the feature you want on your plan is active before you leave the US.

the $15 a month is for calling from U.S. to international countries.

You need to enable it on your account.
Thanks
If there are 2 phones on the account BOTH phones must be enrolled.
Thank you for this video
$100? 😮 No thanks. I’ll buy a $20 local prepaid sim wherever I’m traveling.
That's a good option to consider, too
😂😅 preach
Doesn’t work if you have a locked phone. If you do you will still pay roaming fees
@@zebratroopfan6695 unlock it and go esim
I like the cheap option too but I also like having my own phone number that I'm used to. So I'm willing to pay the extra money
Are outgoing calls to US "free" with the day pass ?
We don't cover voice calls here, you can look up the details on AT&T's website:
www.att.com/international/day-pass/
Thanks!
Do we still need to buy sim in the country were in? What if our phone is locked?
To use roaming on your US plan, you continue to you use your carrier's SIM.

Can we use the esim for at&t internationa day pass?
International day passes are a feature of your plan - regardless if on physical or eSIM.

Most carriers have time limited on out of country usage. Be sure to check.

Any idea if the 10 day cap applies to business lines?
As covered in the video, the cap does not apply to business lines.
