KUNG FU PANDA 4 Could’ve Been Way BETTER...

- Kung Fu Panda 4 could've been way better, here's why. While I did enjoy it, some scenes felt rushed and unfinished. Take the ending, for instance. After defeating the chameleon, Po's old foes gather, but only Tai Lung speaks, which felt odd. Shen and Kai just stand there silently, which doesn't fit their characters. Also, it's unclear how Kai is still around after turning into chi dust. To improve, I'd suggest giving the returning villains more depth. Instead of just standing there, they could have a bigger impact on the story. For example, focusing on stopping the chameleon from resurrecting Shen could add emotional weight, considering how much Shen messed with Po in the second film. Bringing back visions of Shen from Kung Fu Panda 2 and involving his father could've added depth to his character. Maybe Tai Lung could've warned Po about Shen, explaining how they had to imprison him somewhere even worse than any earthly prison. This would have tied back nicely to Tai Lung's storyline in the first film. Overall, I liked the movie, I felt it missed opportunities to elevate the story.

Terrible way to end off the franchise
@@alantzul1879well good news, there is still KFP5 and KFP6 coming in the foreseeable future
@@MrSamperi24 thank you for this let’s hope!
Yes and it would have been cool if all the villains fight the Chameleon along side po but that wouldn't have been possible because they were stripped of their Kung-fu and Let's acknowledge the fact that the past 3 villains have actual names and her name is just a chameleon.😳
Bro there's also the Furious Five. Their names aren't their animal name too.
@@fearfulclan2007 I think you mean they are?
@@fearfulclan2007The Furious Five get the exception since they’re characters that *aren’t* trash unlike Chameleon who isn’t written very well. “oH, Im ExAcTiNg ReVeNgE bEcAuSe ThEy SaId I wAs ToO sMaLl…” Bruh, take a look at Mantis who is waaaay smaller. The reason Kai and shen didn't speak was because their voice actors never returned to voice them. Which also happened with the furious five.
Yeah so they can keep the budget down.
@@routeone4790 well when you think about it most of the furious five actors are premium voice actors. Example monkey is Jackie Chan and tiger says Angelina Jolie.
@@Damonthepro6726 That's crazy they really weren't going to be involved in this
Not only did the directors not want to pay each actor to lend their voice, only the 3 films of the main triology cost more than 175 million compared to this one with only 80 million.
Hence the rush
Kung du panda 3 and 4 have an 8 year gap they could atleast put more work into it we've waited 8 years just to be given something mid when I could had waited another year for something amazing
Apparently the Co-Director wanted to make Kung Fu Panda 4 more like the first two movies, and had better ideas, but was denied and was called a nobody by the rest of the crew.
Mike Mitchel sux
At the end of kfp 4 there was supposed to be a scene when shifu was there when tai lung and the villains bow to Po, shifu sees it, him and tai lung end up hugging, crying and this time tai lung accepts shifu's apology and tai lung apologized too but they scrapped it 😭 and I THINK another scene was the villains teaming up with Po to defeat the chameleon (I think that was the other scene they scrapped out)
@FriedFlakes667 He Does, and he was the one who didn't want to give Zhen and The Chameleon a Backstory.
@@MonteyaWaters Damn. This really shows how much of a b*tch Mike Mitchell is. Honestly I hope he rots in hell
Source?
The Chameleon had so much potential. There was so many parts that oozed it. Like her taking the form of Zhen to trick Po (along with the creepy laugh) and ESPECIALLY her becoming a horrific monster in a last ditch effort to take down Po. If only she had a backstory that's on par with the past 3 villains along with the movie having a better story in general.
I think po will fight "himself" or something to complete the trio
tai lung: physical
shen: mental
kai: spiritual
chameleon: reflection of po
No, Chameleon: tests the audience’s patience
Although it was interesting how the predictions about Po having to fight a panda for the 4th movie was somewhat correct.
Reflection is accurate
@@ShockwaveFPSStudiosyeah cause she's Po's reflect but inverted.

Kai and Shen would get along since they wanted mass murder Tai Lung doesn’t belong with them

JUST USE THE DEHYDRATION GUN, OH MY GOD!
I could’ve added more reason as to why Kai showed up in this movie even though he exploded from too many chi juice in the last movie, by just saying his essence was separated into different bacteria, and the Chameleon used all that bacteria to revive Kai, only to take his chi away.
That reason makes no sense, but it’s the only one I got so, deal with it.
The other thing I would’ve done is actually let Kai & Lord Shen talk. They could’ve brought JK Simmons & Gary Oldman to do the voices. It would’ve obviously allowed them to have closure with Po.
The last thing I do… Shifu gets captured by the Chameleon and that’s what convinces Po to free Zhen so they could go on a journey to stop the Chameleon. The movie would’ve ended with Shifu saying goodbye to Po, and so he joins Tai Lung to live in the Spirit Realm, so he could finally be in peace. Yeah… did I forget to mention Shifu needed closure with Tai Lung?
I dont think po would be affected by shen's symbol beacuse in the second movie po found inner piece
Honestly, my ideal for Kung Fu Panda 4 would've been a two part movie. Making part 1 about an ancient tournament like Mortal Kombat and Chameleon playing a similar role like Shang Tsung. Having Po finding out that he's one of the warriors that symbolizes the Chinese Zodiacs and he's giving the quest to gather the other warriors across the world, leading until the last zodiac warrior, which is reveal to be The Monkey King.
And then making part two focusing on the tournament, the chinese zodiacs against the astrology zodiacs, leading to the main boss, the Chameleon. And her motivations will be way different than the one shown in the film, revealing that she's actually a demi-god and her purpose was to gather all the zodiac in order to release her father, which is an dark god who was prison by the previous zodiac warriors. Then defeating Chameleon at the end, but revealing at a credit scene that gate that was supposed keep that dark god inside starts cracking. Leading the dark god as the ultimate villain for the 5th film.
The Monkey King...Genius. Using actual Chinese Myth and Legends in the story of Kung Fu Panda is an amazing concept.
So this would’ve been the sequel trilogy of KFP? Who are the other characters that symbolize the Chinese and Astrological Zodiacs?
@@calvinfujii5921 @calvinfujii5921 Here's the interesting part. Picture this, Po is given the mission to gather these warriors and now he has to use his staff to travel around the world. Each of these champions will be characters from myths and legends from every culture known (something similar like God of War but more united). While the astrological zodiac, they'll be the antagonists that existed in these legends. So for example, we get to see characters like Morgan Le Fay, Hercules, Raijin, Imhotep , Baldur, Lancelot, etc.
Once Po gathered the champions, the Monkey King reveals himself, turning out to be just a kid. Putting Po in a major role not just as the leader of the zodiac warriors, but also the mentor of the new Monkey King destined to destroy the dark god.
@@Albino_WolfWow. You are genius.
there is a fancomic made by someone called nehezt, it involved a redemption arc for tai lung & had Po and the five in it as well, it's really well written and drawn and still in the process of being made, it's called "traces of spring"
I feel the villans are neutreal. They don't like Po, so they won't help him. But they're also dead, defeated by Po, and just witnessed his true power, it'd be useless to try to fight him
One thing that I don't think gets talked about enough and that's Jennifer Yul Nelson. She was the head of the story in the first Kung Fu Panda film and then directed the second and third. With her not apart of thebfourth one something felt missing. Kinda makes you wonder how different the movie would be if she was involved
More Tai Lung would have made this movie 100000x better 💯
Tai lung-starts speaking to po
Shen and Kai-dude I don’t wanna talk to this fatty just let us go home
I laughed so damn hard. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
moral of the story: give old characters respect when making them return
Scene where Cameleon revived Tai Lung should've been at the start of the movie, not very end
Cameleon would've atleast had better introduction
Fr
I was also kinda disappointed when the chameleon summons the warriors and only Tai Lung fough. I thought for sure atleast Kai would've fight a little like Tai Lung
I feel liked the leader wolf from kung fu panda 2 should have come out the spirit portal too (the one that was killed by Shen)
Also I feel like tai lung felt off in some scenes like he made a line that didn’t feel like him
We NEED tai lang redemtion arc.
I was frankly confused why Kai and Shen didn't want revenge after Being released from the spirit realm.
I can see why Shen didn’t. Shen accepted his fate.
If you’ve seen the deleted scenes of Shen, then you would get a better understanding on why Shen doesn’t needs to be imprisoned.
Shen showing respect to Po is soo fuckin out of character man
Exactly. Kai too.
What should have been done is that Chameleon should have absorbed the villains not just their spirits. After that, Po would break the thing that Chameleon was using or the "seal" making the villains' spirits be dispersed to various places around the world. That would have been a good cliffhanger. This would be a good start for a story where Po would travel to different places and gets wiser as time goes by.
I have so many ideas for Tai Lung's redemption and for others' too. TL:DT.
I think apart from Tai Lung nobody else spoke because they need to bring those artists who gave voice to those characters and they may not be some small paid voice artists if you notice the furies five also doesn't speak in the last part of the movie. In conclusion what I'm trying to say is to make villains appear on the screen may cost a little bit but bringing actors who given the voice is too expensive.
I think it would’ve been cool if at the ending all the past villains aka shen and Kai try to kill po but tai lung helps po and save him.
Lord Shen and Kai were added late in the development that’s why Gary Oldman and J K Simmons didn’t return
Bro Shen just glares at Po every now and then😢
I enjoyed the movie. Wasnt the best but the fights, animations detail etc looked great. But Zhen was a miss. She was a mary sue...didnt like her becoming the new dragon warrior. I dont see why Po had to become the spiritual leader when he doesnt meet the qualifications. When Zhen gave good advice I hoped she would be taking the spiritual leader place instead and Po stays as the dragon warrior. Ive seen people say Tigress should of gotten the role. WHile I want po to stay as the dragon warrior cause its what we knew him as at least Tigress getting the role would make much better sense than a thief he just met. Zhen just gets everything handed to her. She can already fight so I dont see why she needs training cause she somehow knows kung fu already. She's strong enough to throw po around and already mastered chi cause she made a chi dragon (which shouldnt of been a dragon cause po not only has a soul of a dragon but makes his chi a dragon to fit the dragon warrior role so it shouldnt be something anyone can do) and just masters everything. I dont know why Shifu couldnt be the spiritual leader.. he has more experience and learned everything from Oogway so I dont know why he had to make Po do it. Shifu would fit the role of spiritual leader far better than Po....
alot of stuff in kung fu panda 4 makes no sense
While yes it would’ve been good to hear Shen and Kai again, but you have to take to consideration that sometimes not everyone will reprise their roles.
See famous actors like Gary Oldman and JK Simmons are busy with other things, they would’ve love to do these roles again, but the problem is if they are free to do them and scheduling too.
It would have been cool if tai lung escape at first then his redemption to po and Sui fu then when they are fight Ing chameleon tai lung save lord Shen and general Kai and they defeated the chameleon together
Chameleon and Tai Lung could've had a great dynamic. Him being promised everything, her never given a chance, both ending up in a dark place from their opposite upbringings.
But the issue with bringing back the visions is that it would undo the development of the second movie, as it’s about Po finding peace with what happened, I do agree that the villains could use more depth, but such a move would be heavily criticized
Exactly.
Ok I’m going to take a Line from South Park when a dead person dies in hell and still ends up in hell. “Where did you think I’ll end up Jersey” you kill a spirit it go back to the spirit world what else you expect Kai was possibly just cleansed of the corruption from Kai stealing chi technique
kai is still here cuz you cant die when your dead 💀
Did Tai Lung get bigger in the spirit world? I thought he was roughly the same height as Po in the original movie.
He's still the same. He never aged
Honestly, when I first saw Tai Lung come out of that portal in the theater, I thought he was far bigger than he was in the first movie.
That's what I thought.
I don’t think the part you said about shen would work because the whole point of kung fu panda 2 was to show how po needed to accept and let go the weight and fear of shen
the writers and director had a very good and indepth plan for this film including shifu reuniting with tai lung but the studio decided to take short cuts and bad changes to the script and plot to make the film cheaper
Nah it was only the co director, Mike Michell and his bs crew ruined it all.
Bruh, Chameleon is the only villain with foreign name😂.
Edit: Her name should be,like Zhang Chung, Feng Xiao, or Guao Qiou

@@iannaliswag8053 don’t you mean without
yes, without
Shen: HEYY EVEN IF I KILLED SOME OF UR RACE, CAN WE BE FRIENDS..?!
The thing that could've made it good was if they all jumped chameleon at the end. Or if they 1v1'd and beat themselves each
Fr
I would’ve made Kung Fu Panda 4-6 RADICALLY different, the most prominent change being that the new main villain for ALL THREE movies is a panda (voiced by Mads Mikkelsen) who underwent the same body, mind and spirit journey as Po did but for the wrong reasons.
Yes it could have by not using the villains as batteries
Shen could have been useful as chameleon’s general or something
Kai could have tried to hunt down po for defeating him the first time
So could have Tai Lung but eventually realized that he it was never his destiny and have a redemption arc and have him and shifu reunite
But since we didn’t get that Dreamworks shot themselves in the foot
Dreamworks: Nice ideas pal! Now shut up
I have wondered what it would be like if Li encountered Lord Shen again and Li comes to have a Pstd moment or Anger moment to attack considering shen personally killed his wife in Kung Fu Panda 2 🐼
They should make a part 2 for kungfu panda 4 for the ones that have already watched it😢
When I didn’t see the Furious Five is when I stopped caring.
And Shen apologizing and accepting his crimes would have been awesome
It started with tai, it ended with tai.
I didn’t think this was the last movie
The original screenwrite of KFP4 was Po going to the real world while being stuck in a phone the whole time
I watched the movie to see and hear shen, i had to stop doing my math assignments to watch this and bet myself: "Shen isnt gonna talk, i shall continue my math."
I got a good grade for the first time after.
Atleast i get to see shen tho
Yeah, just story could be better. I thought this movie will have like the power duo between Po and Tai lung working together to stop powerful villains but student, master story is good too.
Atleast Larry and Scott have voice line :D
It's like he took the words out of our mouths, me and my buddy would've said the same thing.
I honestly like the film but i do agree that some parts felt rushed, alot of people where saying the chameleon got defeated pretty easily so I was expecting po to go in a defeat the chameleon in like 2 seconds because thats what people made sound like, but then they honestly have a pretty cool fight scene with the chameleon changing into different characters like shen and kai.
Also the introduction of the chameleon was honestly pretty lame compared to the other 3 villains introduction, plus not showing the villain beating the furious 5 like the previous 3 villains really brings the villain down for me and of course not having the furious 5 is also a dagger, could you imagine for an introduction of the chameleon, what if she stole the kung fu of the furious 5 in her introduction and the furious 5 have to go back to the jade palace to warn shifu and po, then maybe po and shifu go on an adventure together to stop the chameleon, imo that would of been alot better then what we got
You know, I was disappointed when the villains did not All speak. But, I was definitely glad to have Ti Lung. I also wished that he said "where is your master now when you need him?" That would have made the scene a bit more something. And then when he completes his line and Po says no problem or whatever he says, it would have been relieving to all of us and not just the characters. If you know what I mean. In this movie, I felt like we were alone for the ride, not a part of it like in the other movies. But, one well
Idk why I find the noise Shen made when his kung tu was stolen funny
Shen and Kai didn't talk because the creators didn't want to pay high paying actors like Gary Oldman and J.K Simmons just to say one lines like "Well done, Po."
It would've been cool if Po trained a shapeshifted chameleon without him knowing
They need the vice actors
I was hoping Tai Lung was somehow going to brought back from the spirit realm become the new Dragon Warrior and achieve his dream under Po but just not what happened.
You realized that was never his dream, that was Shifu's. He even said it himself, all he ever wanted was to make Shifu proud. That's why Oogway refuse to give him the title, Tai Lung wanted the title just to make somebody else's dream come true when that was not the purpose of being the DW.
The reason why I think they didn't make kai and shen talk is probably because they couldn't find the voice actors or something like that
Man, wait until you read about the production history of this thing…
Agreed. Kung Fu Panda 4 was a good movie, but the villains could’ve done way more. This is also something that feels off in the 3rd movie. Shen should’ve had a far bigger impact on Po life, but yet he’s hardly mentioned in both 3 and 4. Wouldn’t it be satisfying if Po told his dad during that scene in the house that the peacock that attacked his old town and killed his wife was gone and that he would never have to worry about him again? That way, Lai could finally be at peace. They literally show a clip from the last movie and didn’t even mention Shen once. It just always felt off to me.
Ending felt rushed. Kai didnt speak bc they couldnt get the actors back to speak. Thats why only tai lung returned fully
If only movies could have redos like "We know we messed up so we're giving you the real kung fu panda 4"
Maybe movies do have something like this but I don't really know how it entirely works. I don't want a kung fu panda 5 that possibly fixes the mistakes, I want THE 4th movie done right. The Chameleon can be a good villain but we need to get rid of the "too small" part of the backstory.
Or maybe no one cares about quality and it's all about the money but Dreamworks is the last company I'd expect to be like that, especially since they gave us Puss in boots: the last wish.
The lackluster of the treatment for the villains. There is no way that would lose to Chameleon that way.
I would have been happy if the bird talked to much, the bull quipped lightly, and Tai lung pulled a shadow/sauske/vegeta & just grunted in begrudging jealous approval
Honestly, tai lung was the only villain who should have come back. And, he should have stayed back. People didn’t want him back as fan service. They wanted him back because he is a compelling character. Plus, imagine a buddy cop movie where he HAS to work with po! That’s comedy gold! Far better than zhen. Tai lung, just like in tge movies has so much potential for greatness, only for the studios hubris to lead to their fall.
One thing I was wondering about that I never saw anyone else cover (not really related to this video) is how does Tai Lung know The Chameleon? Because he says things among the lines of "Po would never give Oogways staff to someone like you" and "I've underestimated you" signifying that he's aware about The Chameleons abilities and properties. So...
It should have been po, shen, Kai, and Tai lung that fought the chameleon to grow from their past and give depth and maybe a redemption arc for them.
AND THE FACT THAT SHEN DIED IN KUNG FU PANDA 2 WHEN THE CANNON FELL ON HIM
A different possible idea could have been a good plot twist instead of some random thief they could have had Tai Lung turn good and learn and he could finally have become the dragon warrior
Getting Jk simmons and gary old man for a 30 second scene would cost a quarter of the budget
Shen dedicated his whole life until the end to kill po and his kind
Yeah the movie felt really rushed and missed a lot of potential, but it doesn’t bother me much as I definitely enjoyed it, it was cute, goofy and really cool which is what I imagine a kfp movie to be, I just think it could’ve been way better let’s just hope kfp 5 makes an improvement whenever the hell that’s coming out
Felt nice seeing the stomp of the spring lol. I'm pretty sure HE IS BOAR
I loved Kung Fu Panda 4, but even I think that there would've veen some things added in the movie: like showing the Chameleon's backstory in the flashbacks as well as her time with Zhen before the events of the film. As well as some dialogues for Kai and Shen hadn't they been reduced as a last minute adittions. Such as....
PO: "(Sees Shen) Lord Shen?"
LORD SHEN: "(Hears and sees Po) Oh, it's you. (Sarcastically) Greetings, Panda. We meet again."
GENERAL KAI: "(From neighboring cage) Panda? You're alive?! Though I can't say I'm happy about it.""
PO: "(Sees Kai) General Kai? My old nemesises! What are you doing here?"
GENERAL KAI: "Funny you even ask, panda. (Sarcastically) Trapped in the cages after being pulled out of the Spirit Realm and drained off our moves by the Chameleon, with your staff by the way. That's what we're doing here."
LORD SHEN: "(Venomously) Indeed. Look at me, Panda. Because of your stupidity, I've been reduced as nothing more but a low prisoner!"
PO: "Well, I'm here to get it back and set everything right."
It would've been nice if Kai and Shen tried to attack Po after the Chameleon's defeat beforeTai Lung stops them, or at least them being the only Spirit Warriors not to bow to Po in respect out of their solid prides.
Wow, you really nailed the dialogue! I heard both characters voices as I read ur comment. And I agree with you 😊 still haven't seen the movie 😢 but from the clips I've seen, it looks like a fun, action-packed film. So far, I'd say it suffers from a similar flaw that the third movie did (for me anyway) which is the very thin connection to the previous films. No mention of Lord Shen, the (in my opinion) very sudden development of Po teaching others kung fu when, if you consider the previous two films, he himself is still learning. But my biggest gripe is that Po is still having an identity crisis, despite confidently stating otherwise at the end of the 2nd film. From what I've seen, Po has to choose a successor even though he's held the title for a very short time (I mean, he doesn't look old lol I always guessed he was around 20-ish in the first movie, and depending on how long this one takes place between the previous films, he must be around early to mid 30's at most right?). It just doesn't make sense to me for him to choose a successor to replace him so soon. I wouldn't be opposed to him choosing a POTENTIAL heir that he could TRAIN, in which once his time comes that student could take on the mantle. There's just a lot of layers here, and there's the very important fact that kfp4 didn't have writers for the story because of the writers strike. This film's story was written entirely by the animators, which (as someone who has went to school and has a degree in this field) is not their expertise. So, if everyone CONSIDERS that fact, then the film is pretty good since it was created by individuals with little experience. Yanno? Sorry, I totally rambled lol. 😅
I enjoy the movie but it's should have done a better job then just letting the movie down, lord shen and kai should have speak or the villains could have invited the world. Then more excitement for the the kung fu panda 4
Not to mention I also wish Tai Lung would return with Po to the Valley of Peace to reunite again with Master Shifu with the promise of becoming the next dragon warrior someday. Above all that especially.
I don’t see how that undoes the first movie because we’ve misinterpreted the hidden message of the scroll. Anyone can be the dragon warrior, so Tai Lung can be too if he’s open to hear Po’s advice. Basically the hidden message of the first movie was not about coveted destiny but about personal growth and evolving into a better person to achieve your goals, so if Po can learn it, why not Tai Lung.
Talk about wasting a better conclusion for his character when he could instead apologize to Po for his rivalry and finds peace again with Master Shifu to gain his trust back. I still think he should wait his turn though to become the next dragon warrior as he still owes many services to the Valley of Peace for his past crimes so that Po pardons him and legally ends his jail sentence, allowing Tai Lung to be remembered as the next hero instead of a fugitive in the eyes of the public when his turn comes, so for now Zhen doesn’t seem like a bad idea for Po’s next student. However I wanted a more promising ending for Tai Lung’s character to get another chance by returning to Shifu showing his respect again.
Another thought I had was if maybe Tai Lung inherits the dragon warrior title to his nephew Peng from the Nickelodeon show to pass on his legacy, and I would like to see that happen in parts 5 and 6 as it looks like Tai Lung has chosen to live in the Spirit realm, so part 4 wasted a very good chance for him. Maybe Zhen makes his Peng her next apprentice and successor to honor Tai Lung’s legacy, but we’ll see what happens next. It would be great to see Tai Lung get yet another chance, but who knows. We’ll see what the animators come up with.
Also let’s not forget Tigress. She too seems like a better alternative to be chosen as the next dragon warrior someday.
In the future if Po well finally come to the Spirit realm I can imagine tai lung waiting for him there and greets him
Welcome home dragon warrior
I agree with everything you said...also Tigress should have been chosen as the next Dragon Warrior instead of Zhen...
Fr
I think what happened with Kai, is that when he blew up, it was more like Bomb in Angry Birds, or Explosion using Pokemon. It's just a burst of energy that left him exhausted, but still alive (so to speak).
So when the chameleon gains wings in the 'dragon' form shen glares, and this version of the chameleon can fly, peacocks can fly but not very well so the chameleon does not make sense
I would have loved Shifu seeing Tai Lung changing
Only thing I liked about the movie was how they mice the fighting styles together toward the end of the movie. The whole movie felt rushed and unpolished and desperately trying to squeeze this into the timeline but in reality it was just a cash grab
A movie about a tai lung redemption arc would have been much better.
Lord Shen and Kai never spoke because they didnt have enough budget for Gary Oldman and JK Simmons to reprise their roles. Same goes for the Furious Five
Kai is a spirit warrior, wich means he’s immortal now
"Some scenes felt rushed and unfinished" - that's the whole movie my guy. It's made only for money, what a shame for the original Kung Fu Panda trilogy
The Chameleon could've just stolen Po's Kung Fu or she probably couldn't because he didn't have the golden thing around him???.
When that chameleon disguised as zhen while touching po, she looks so cute lmao. Idk why.
Bro if the ferrous 5 where in the story it would be a w
If they were to make the fox character change the villains mind and fight alongside Po I think it would have made her a better character and more understanding as to why she would be chosen to be the next Dragon Warrior :))
Honestly I wanted to see more Tai Lung in the movie. Overall, dude deserved way better than the hand he was dealt.
I wish they could have tai lung and po fight together.
The reason why they stand there and did nothing and say nothing is because dreamWorks weren’t even bothered to go get the original voice actors
