Fantastic that you got the best ending! Really appreciate you doing you this one Kodes, it's one of my favorites trom the old Game Boy collection. Sorry that I haven't replied in a while, phone broke while I was away so I'm just on a different device for now!
I always thought it was funny that Mario just, grabs the golden Peach statue immediately the second Wario finds it. And then if you barely have any coins Wario goes to live in a birdhouse. There's this fun headcanon some people have that different Wario games split off from these endings- Birdhouse ending -> Wario's Woods, Castle ending-> Wario Land 2, I think maybe Planet ending was Wario World? Something like that. Captain Syrup would be a cool character to see in more things.... Pauline's been in stuff, so why not? That Kaizo block though. Oh mah rotten garlics. Fun playthrough, hope you (and Bikdip??) are doing okay and feel better soon! Getting over some sickness myself, seems it's been everywhere lately. Oh, one last thought- have you ever played Virtual Boy Wario Land? It's got a lot in common with this game, more than the gameboy sequels do. It's pretty fun on emulator (I assume you don't have a virtual boy, being the "Ultimate Classic System" that it is lol? Though I have played on one IRL, it was kinda fun , once I thought to lay on my back with it laying on my face)
Haha, thank you. Bikdip however is an inspiration than a contact and I’ve been way to much of a coward to reach out to him directly, lol. The Josh I know of is @Meta_Dedede and I think he’s also been sick, so I hope he’s feeling better too. Also, I have not played the Virtual Boy (ULTIMATE CLASSIC SYSTEM) yet, though I’m aware of the final boss in that particular Wario Land, he kinda looks like Mr. Burns a little, lol. And yeah Nintendo, give us more Caprain Syrup. She is so underutilized. Thanks for the comment! I’ll try to keep a harder eye out for any Kaizo blocks from now on. :P
The final boss gave me a lot of grief back in the day because I used to think you had to hit him with the lamp. Oh the things we used to believe right? :P
