last week derestricted my mt07, the bike is just different in a very good way. how it behaves and shit, its honestly how the bike should be ridden. full power mt07 is something else. just so much fun when you have learned on it with the restriction. id advise everyone to derestrict when they can after learning on it!! Edit: i see that you only throttle plate restricted it. In most models theres also an intake restriction that has impact on the performance. Aswell as an ecu tune. Idk how the throttle plate restriction only is like
@@R1___ i derestricted it through yamaha. after they finish the derestriction. basically your license plates information gets adjusted from 35kw to 55kw. so yeah if a cop reads your plate in their system it will most likely show the info
@@RaboTH nah you can just buy the 55kw version, insure it and restrict it if you want. you can insure the bike if your insurance lets you. just keep in mind if you decide to ride the bike at 55kw but your license only allows for 35kw. if ever you face a technical inspection thatd be annoying trouble to be in. id advise to just ride what your license allows you to hehe. not worth the risk.

yeah just takes a longer time not sure about 5th and 6th gears need to try it out because its stops it from opening more than 70ish% throttle so might not in the higher gears

Until 2021 you had to ride resteicted for 2yrs after that u automatically got the license upgrade... now you have to retake a test like it s two seperate license now! -.- so you gotta wait 2yrs then redo a driving test and then u get the new license for the unrestricted one. Money greede bastard country here fr

Less of a bite cuz you max out at 70% ish throttle. Still a fun bike for A2 license holders
