This is the problem of almost every Muslim household back here in India...When ever any one from their family member starts following Quran and Sunnah they just start calling him this "Wahabbi"..they have got no better argument to defend their shirk and bidahs...

I do zikrs on Friday evenings with the Sufi Tajjani and I don't pray to saints we send a lot of Salawat on the prophet , we do a lot of la ilaha ha illalah we also zikr hasbi allaha hu nima wakeel .my baby passed inside me at 4 mo and I was in 80 much pain and depression I begged Allah to give me something for the Pain and I believe these zikrs are what he gave me. And we were taught that if anyone meaning any Imam Says anything that we are not sure is correct Islamically to go refer to Quran & Hadith to check it.😅
In sub continent there are books which state that ba yazid went to miraj and Allah talk with his mouth and a awliya told his servent to recite kalima with his name at the place of Muhammad SAW there are lot of shirk and blasphemy of Muhammad SAW in sufi barelvi and deobandi books Ex barelvi ❤
In pakistan there is a place where people do tawaf around tree and think they will get sawab of hajj and umrah and there is another place where is a door of jannah in which people think of someone pass he will goto jannah
Rejecting sufuism as a whole is stupid. Rejecting individual acts they do yes but how can you reject the entire beliefs of sufis when people like ibn taymiyah and ibn qayyim praised the likes of imam Junayd As Sadiq al Bagdhadi when he was from the first 3 generations himself.
Were Musa, Ibrahim or Muhammad, peace be upon them all, sufis? Did Abu Bakr and Umar sit in the masjid on a Friday doing dhikr while bobbing their heads like chickens? Did Ali and Fatima sit in a circle with their kids making salawat for 3 hours?

Walahi i was a sufi student. I wasn't pray with any group of muslims without sufi. I celebrat mawlid. I even don't eat meat if not halal by sufi. Alhamdu lillah i open my eyes. I remove traditional or regional branch of islam and i accept whatever the quran and hadith says.

The main problem is shirk invoking saint beside Allah think that Muhammad SAW is everywhere and every time and listening to us he is hazir and nazir
