Narrated Abu Sa`id: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Our Lord Allah will lay bare His Shin, and then all the Believers, men and women, will prostrate themselves before Him, but there will remain those who used to prostrate in the world for showing off and for gaining good reputation. وقال الإمام أبو سليمان الخطَّابي (388هـ) في كتابه «أعلام الحديث في شرح صحيح البخاري»[(175)]: قلتُ: وهذا الحديث مما قد تهيَّب القولَ فيه شيوخنا، فأَجْروهُ على ظاهر لفظه ولم يكشفوا عن باطن معناه على نحو مذهبهم في التوقف عن تفسير كل ما لا يُحيط العلم بكنهه من هذا الباب، وقد تأوَّله بعضهم على معنى قوله (يوم يُكشف عن ساق)، فروي عن ابن عباس أنه قال: عن شدّة وكرْب» اهـ.

Ta Ha 20:84 قَالَ هُمْ أُو۟لَآءِ عَلَىٰٓ أَثَرِى وَعَجِلْتُ إِلَيْكَ رَبِّ لِتَرْضَىٰ He said, “Here they are close upon ATHARI (my tracks), and I hurried towards You, my Lord, so that You be pleased.” The quran defends its people and exposes the dajjals.
The question here is does Ibn Abas always interprets all the ayayt of Allah attributes in the same way? Because there are many many verses that describe the attributes of Allah and it will be interesting to know what Ibn abbas says about those.
Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “Allah Almighty created four things with His hand: Adam, upon him be peace, the Throne, the Pen, and the Gardens of Eden. Then, He said to the rest of creation, ‘Be’ and it was.” al-Sharī’ah lil-Ājurrī 756 Sahih Al-Albani
Sheikh ul islam Ibn Taymiyyah Rahimahullah said as for the recitation that has been reported يوم يكشف عن ساق He said “من إبن عباس من طرق ضعيفة" Then sheikh ul islam says "وأما الذي صحّ عن ابن عباس أنه قرأ "يوم تكشف عن ساق" فقال: يريد القيامة والساعة وعلى هذه القراءة فلا إشكال فليست هي من آيات الصفات" Read the full pdf it destroys this doubt of the Ashari’s and ahlul bidah!

I’ve noticed an issue of feminists in Islam using Nusaybah bint Ka’ab as an example, making statements such as she is better than thousands of Sahabis, some go further, use this as a reason for men being weaker than women, wa Allahu Al Musta’an. If this could be addressed by one of them and clarify what the ahadith mention her stance to be and so forth. Barak Allah feekum.

Allāh (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ ) has a real foot. His foot is most perfect. Yet, it is totally different from the feet of the creation. Anas and Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “(In the hereafter,) more and more (disbelievers) will be thrown into hell, and hell will say, “Is there more?” Finally, the Lord of dignity will place His foot over it. It will then shrink down and say, “(I have) enough, (I have) enough-by Your Honor.” [This was recorded by al-Bukhārī (4848-4850) and Muslim (2846, 2848)]
If they're clinging so much to what ibn Abbas is saying then show them this: On the authority of Ibn Abbas: “The chair (al-kursi) is where the feet are, and no one can measure [the greatness of] the throne [of Allah].” [Sahih mawqoof on Ibn Abbas] - [Narrated by Abdullah bin Ahmad in the Sunnah, and Ibn Khuzaymah in Tawhid] عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما موقوفًا عليه: «الكُرسِيُّ مَوْضِع القَدَمَين، والعَرْش لا يَقْدِرُ أحدٌ قَدْرَه». [صحيح موقوفًا على ابن عباس -رضي الله عنهما] - [رواه عبد الله بن أحمد في السنة، وابن خزيمة في التوحيد] And from Tafsir al-Qurtubi: Ibn Abbas read [in his particular qiraa'a/reading of the verse] "يَوْمَ تَكْشِفُ عَنْ سَاقٍ"="the day when it (f.) uncovers its shin" [different from the common reading "يَوْمَ يُكْشَفُ عَنْ ساقٍ" = "the day when a shin will be uncovered"] as the ta’ of the subject of the fa’il, meaning when hardship or resurrection will uncover its shin. As the saying that goes: The war has uncovered its shin... وَقَرَأَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ "يَوْمَ تَكْشِفُ عَنْ سَاقٍ" بِتَاءِ مُسَمَّى الْفَاعِلِ، أَيْ تَكْشِفُ الشِّدَّةُ أَوِ الْقِيَامَةُ عَنْ سَاقِهَا، كَقَوْلِهِمْ: شَمَّرَتِ الْحَرْبُ عَنْ سَاقِهَا. قَالَ الشَّاعِرُ: فَتَى الْحَرْبِ إِنْ عَضَّتْ بِهِ الْحَرْبُ عَضَّهَا ... وَإِنْ شَمَّرَتْ عَنْ سَاقِهَا الْحَرْبُ شَمَّرَا May Allah reward you.
