Man having nearly 2 years worth of pre-recorded vids and even used this same "Two Steps Ahead" speech right before he started releasing the pre-records, when he still had weight. Man is wild. Takes more than 7 months to lose that weight.
This is really inspiring from Mr. Avacado Man. As someone who really needs to lose weight myself. I admire the dedication it took for him to do this. Also, the actual Joker arc is hilarious. I expect it wasn't all the "social experiment" he is playing it off as. I suspect one thing or another gave him a moment of clarity that he needed to change, and that's when he started planning this stunt. Which, even if it took two years to complete, my guy lost two whole people in weight. Impressive as hell.
250 pounds in 2 years is a healthy amount of weight loss, you generally want 2-3 pounds a week lost. 52 ish weeks in the year, comes out to 100-150 ish pounds you should be losing a year. Mainly just saying this cause of the "even if it took 2 years" comment, not saying you're being mean or misinformed or whatever, just clarifying that thats good healthy weight loss.
I actually want to write smth in the comments this time instead of the usual thing I comment. When I first found the guy, I thought he was just a mukbagner.i knew he disliked the content but I didn't know that he hated it. I was so happy seeing the thumbnail with him all changed. He put a lot of effort losing weight which a lot of people couldn't which is very inspiring. I wanna say more but this comment is already way too long and I don't know if people are gonna read it all. As always, a 🐟 but really I'm happy for him. Maybe he'll make a new name in the world of music.
I kind of have the opposite feeling on this one. I've never watched him, I find mukbang videos quite disgusting to watch, so I only know him as a lolcow through memes and shit. And as much as I find it cool for him to be at a healthy weight (he does look way more happy like this), I find the way he handled his weight loss communication pretty bad. He could have recorded his weight loss journey, like the other guy Sunny talks about in his video, and that would have been an inspiring change. But no, he decided to fool people with pre-recorded content, just to have a "gotcha" moment 2 years later. It feels like he lost weight just to get back at people mocking him, which is pretty uninspiring to me, a bad reason to lose weight and usually results in the person getting back the weight a few months/years later in my experience. And knowing that, him saying he wants to continue making mukbang content is kind of a red flag to me.
@@Ars3nLup1n while it may be uninspiring as a concept, spite is one hell of a motivator when you get down to it. Personally I love that he proved people wrong.
Oh yeah, heard about this after yt reccomended me a penguin, that man is the villain and honestly 250lbs in 2 years is genuinly impressive, I must say wmt from kinda disgusted by the man to genuinly impressed, amazing job nickocado, amazing, amazing job. massive respect. and damn where we played theast 2 years
The best thing is that even if nik is going to play "the villain", Ive already seen so many comments of people being motivated to either drop their weight or push harder at being better. Dude is indirectly potentially gonna save a lot of people from eating themselves into a casket at 40. I'm one of those dudes, hit my biggest a month ago at 350lbs after just not caring for myself. Saw that video of nik where he lost 80 something and I was like "well shit if he can do it I have no excuse". A month in and already down 12 pounds, just gotta put in the effort.
hes a good actor that's what he is even if he didn't lose his weight I don't see him as a villain the guy is living hes dream doing what he wanted in life hes always winning
All I can really say is: “Well played, Nick. Well played.” Man knew the formula, recognized how the internet worked. And essentially coasted financially for two years while working on himself. Just downright *MARVELOUS*
Either this guy is playing mind games with himself or being one of the smartest content creator out there. Also he lost the weight but the damages to his body.. idk if they're irreversible
I don’t think it’s liposuction cause I’ve seen celebrities who get that and they look terrible and older. I’m not saying Nickakado went through a Christian Bale weight transformation but damn!
I have always kinda felt bad for.the guy. Obviously his persona was mostly an act, but I always felt that there was some truth to the things he said when he broke down and I was actually really happy when that video popped up on my recommended.
Asmon called all this out pretty much every time he discussed Nikacado. A lot of people have been predicting this kind of outcome honestly. 😆 Maybe now he'll take better care of his health. He already caused irreversible damage by getting so extremely unhealthy to begin with. And if he lost the weight repidly that can also be bad for your health long term. Whether or not this is all legit and stays this way, we'll see.
Skipped the Sunny part, dude is a hack. But this is a wild situation, nobody can seriously claim they saw this actually happening and Nikocado being a really talented violin player is just perfect, he played everyone like a fiddle. I think it's absolute cope from people not wanting to admit they got tricked to say he didn't plan this, especially when there is old video evidence where he says he's planning something unexpected.
Well let's be honest...who is still watching him..maybe his viewership did tank for the past 3 yrs and he just kept living that lifestyle...would explain why he now regrets his life decisions
I swear I saw a different video about him like a days ago (sunny) and he was fat as hell But also is it gonna be like a full cycle from light weight to fat to light weight since he can still eat that much
His shaved head could be a sign as to how he lost weight. If you do a bad diet, of just cutting back on food and not properly eating, you can cause a lot of issues due to nutrient deficiency. Nutrient deficiency can cause brittle hair and a host of other issues. You can also harm your pancreas from losing weight rapidly, which can cause other issues too. The fact he is thin and has a shaved head might indicate unhealthy weight loss. I noticed his hands look slightly yellow (19:38), so he may have gained some health related issues from his sudden weight loss. Possibly related to his liver. My main thought though is what about the woman that died that he did collaborations with? She died due to obesity and the health issues she gained from taking part in overeating random food. He aided that and encouraged it. This guy isn't someone to be applauded.
Everyone that watched those videos contributed and indirectly "promoted it" too. Is it our collective fault she didn't take care of herself and died as a result? Nik didn't kill her, he didn't even come close. Its her decision, its not exactly unknown that morbid obesity is unhealthy and kills people. She killed herself with food, thats it plain and simple. Nobody forced her to overeat to such an absurd degree, she had to willingly inhale all of those calories and not do anything to counter balance it. Peer pressure sucks, but you have to be stupid enough to still decide to take a hit. Nik could have gone down the same road but he didnt (even though most people thought he would, a decent portion of people were there just to watch him kill himself with food too). Even if he "cheated" with weight loss supplements or injections or whatever, he still decided to make the best decision for himself. Don't get it twisted it doesn't excuse turning yourself into one of the internets biggest assholes, and I hope that part of nik is what stays dead and buried, but he chose health and wellness over the "safe bet" of eating himself to death for views. Absolutely should be applauded since he accomplished what many people fail.

The funniest part is that the Sunny video was up-to-date a couple days ago, and it went bad fater than milk in the sun.
All according to Nick's keikaku.
Sunny's video aged like milk in two days lmao.

Genuinely, I want his plans. I don't have 250 to lose, I'm 270, but using his method I'd definitely consider

Actual villain arc incoming
He played us all like 🎻!
I watched this on stream, but I’ll watch again while I procrastinate sleeping. Graveyard shift homies know the feeling.
As some literally on my night shift rn i feel you, need more hours for vtubers and less for sleep. Who needs that anyway?
Worked that hell for 15 years i know the feeling well.
HE PLAYED US LIKE A DAMN FIDDLE!
Dude spent two years to reach this point. I can not imagine the hell he put himself through to lose that weight. It's honestly really inspiring.
The wild thing is, even in the video sunny used, Nikocado was already significantly thinner than he was years ago
Also, the dude said he'll lose weight when he turned 30, and guess what? He's 32 as of this year
Nicocado showing up buff in a year seems plausible, he's gonna upload a video titled "Just one more step ahead"
I like the emotional support parrot 🦜
We all being brainwashed by mukbang videos he thinks two steps ahead maybe he is or maybe he isn’t who knows
Damn he played us harder than my ex-gf played me. Honestly he needs to be congratulations

the new avatar you use looks good 👍
Kitsu's brain: "Should I call him Niko or Nikocado... hm..."
Kitsu's mouth: "Nikado."

I don’t think it’s liposuction cause I’ve seen celebrities who get that and they look terrible and older. I’m not saying Nickakado went through a Christian Bale weight transformation but damn!
Asmongold reaction is sooooo good. You need to reavt to that too.

This may have some sort of merits but I genuinely feel like this is over analyzing it
