My father used to catch a heap of Whiting on Stockton beach back in the 80s. Are the pipis still small and low in numbers? They used to be large and abundant at Stockton, an ideal bait and so easy to find.

There are still pipis around but they are not abundant like they used to be

There are fish all over Stockton beach quit often the fish are in very close almost at your feet
