That's the world biggest computer cooling system. So smart..

9:09. Southend, south. Apron. Left. Digging deep, right in front of the speculative subterranean east fire escape passage.

I noticed that as well during editing. Can't see as many details during flight, otherwise I would have zoomed in on that one. Next time for sure. Do you think Prufrock has already emerged inside the expansion? I haven't seen other videos or news....it might be there, just haven't had the time...

@@AirwaveDynamics 3 of these subterranean fire escape passages. Unrelated to the Tunnel Project.
Tunnel Project. I think it will surface deep inside the Southend. Other than that's the way the TBM was pointed, there's no evidence to show it will end up there.
I don't think there's enough width between the road and the building on the west side for the TBM to emerge on that same alignment. Possibly enough width it the tunnel takes a turn northwards, but that has it's own set of problems with some of the existing sanitary sewer pipes.
Tunnel Engineer David Salisbury suggests the latter is likely.
Either way, no on the ground evidence to suggest the TBM is about to surface. It's a puzzler.

@@DessieDoolan Thanks for the insight! I'll keep looking (as I'm sure the others are) for any glimpses of surfacing... Maybe in a few months it ends up at the Hutto railyard lol. But seriously, you would think preparations are being made around the area it will emerge by now.
That one small section inside the expansion building, which some of us speculated where it might surface.....I wonder if that was an emergency tunnel going straight down, or.......

@@AirwaveDynamics In your 23 April video at 4.57 there's a stack of steel, and a retaining wall to the right. Immediately to the right of that retaining wall is where I think the tunnel portal will be.
The bare patch of earth in that shot is still bare earth as seen in most recent views inside. Joe's 29 May video at 11.02 for example.
My guess is that there will be a ramp to the tunnel portal, not an elevator, so no shaft.

@@DessieDoolan I assumed it would be near there... At the time, I thought they would need it to (temporarily) stay open air for large equipment. But apparently that's not the case now. Would have loved to see it bore out in live time!
