Very nice video. I was in Coos Bay in 1968 with my grandparents. My grandfather wanted to visit the lumber mill there, which we did, that processed Myrtle wood. Don't remember the name of the mill but was wondering if it is still there today.
I read the crime there was bad. The rate of crime in Coos Bay is 46.20 per 1,000 residents during a standard year. ... Your chance of being a victim of crime in Coos Bay may be as high as 1 in 11
Usually a bad sign when a 4 lane road runs next to the waterfront. Downtown is mostly parking lots and roads with almost no trees. Hopefully we'll destroy all of this 1960's car-sprawl someday and start making cities for people again, like many cities were before they were destroyed to make car-sprawl. Literally every city that has shut down its central streets to cars in lieu of creating a pedestrian district and green spaces has seen a massive economic and quality of life boom. If Coos Bay did that it would probably be one of the most desirable places to live in Oregon.
Very nice footage! Thanks for sharing💯💯💯

Yes, if it's the big giant one - there's also a casino built next to it now owned by the tribe called The Mill
