What saw blades are you using on the portaband? Looking to find some decent ones mine broke yesterday after making probably 6-8 cuts and when I was looking over the snapped blade I found damn near a dozen cracks along the entirety of it. It was pretty wild.
Sadly it’s always hit or miss with these blades. I’ve had good luck with the Milwaukee brand I get from Home Depot that are 10-14 TPI. Every once in a while I’ll get a dud blade like you experienced. Seems like there is no rhyme or reason to it.
