Quality control...... Whats that?????😁😁😁. Quality control i believe will be something that dies with our generation unfortunately. It started dying when we started buying the majority of our items from overseas.
Many thanks, seems black & white, so will have to ask why they think my F3-S has a brake light issue that's going to take three months for a fix to arrive. Unless they were stressed & confusion reigned telling me the wrong cause for a delayed handover. However, for a potential mirror lens dislodge a three month wait will be a very - very difficult pill to swallow.
@@MOABMAN You jest of course (not a question) that sprocket issue was May 2022 / Ten months plus & people are still waiting.. I can only think of something an old boss of mine drilled into my fat head many years ago " All the P's = Proper Planning and Prep Prevents Piss Poor Performance " it sounds like the message never got through the fire wall at BRP if after 10 months you cant get something as simple as a sprocket out the door. Lets face it, the facts are theyve been around for over a hundred years. Right now, I'm really not sure I'm prepared to wait 3 plus months for a new mirror housing for a problem it might not have. Even if it has LAMonster sell a stock mirror blanking plate with indicators with handle bar mounted mirrors. grrrrr, Catch you soon fella, your thoughts always appreciated.
Always enjoy the comments and sounds like a smart boss!! Not trying to stand up for them, but they have had a whole lot happen in the past 2 years. I think they are struggling a little to keep up and improve their comoany at the same time. On the flip side, they seem to be ignoring or brushing off things that are causing their their faithful customers to go HMMMMMM a little to much. I feel sorry for the dealers the most. They are required to keep so much stock in order to keep the business of can-am but cant sell their stock they have at the same time. I would love to sell them and have a store of my own (only a wish) but now im thinking that would be a huge headache!
@@MOABMAN Interesting you say that, my contact at the dealership used these words when I spoke to him about the recalls, " theyve just dropped 3 manta green F3's & 10 Rykers on me & now I cant sell any of them. Your comment brings his situation into perspective, They aren't in a big premises by any stretch of the imagination & the car park (an ex gas station) had 4 x 3 high stacked wooden can-am crates & you couldn't have put anything (perhaps a push bike) in the showroom. They are caught between a rock & a hard place, perhaps an incentive to let my F3 out of the building. We will see, think I'm going to speak to them Mon morning.. Take care fella, catch you soon.
@@MOABMAN The Countdown Clock is up & running again. I took the final items (fender sequential indicators & DRL's & dynamic driving lights) I wanted fitted to my spyder from day one to the dealership yesterday along with various written documents confirming the F3-S isn't part of the recall for sticky brake light. I hadn't given notice of my visit but as soon as I walked through the door I got the message "I've just emailed you with good news about the recall" apologies were made for raising my blood pressure & the message we will set about installing your upgrades asap. Unfortunately over a week has passed with no activity on the previous mods delivered upgraded head lights, fogs & DRL's so this week is not possible but the back end of next week might be but being a realist I think we are probably talking week commencing April 17. Thanks again for all your help managing my blood pressure. They did admit they hadn't ordered a pair of mirror housings to meet that recall & as part of free upgrades for signing the dotted line in January the small windscreen ordered has gone walk about so its highly unlikely those mods will be fitted for delivery. Something I'm not going to lose sleep over. The other two items, front/frunk signature light & grip heaters are ready for install. It is truly incredible that Can-Am makes the exact same bike for 10+ years and STILL have major reliability issues. This is what happens when you manufacture everything in China. Exact reason I got rid of my Spyder and bought a Ducati Multistrada V4S. Can-Am is selling outdated/unreliable bikes for a high price.
I kinda think this is from the "chip shortage" issues they were having during and after Covid. Because of the shortages, to my understanding they were just throwing things in that would work in order to get product out. Sadly they are not the only company that did this. I believe we will start seeing other manufactures having issues with 2021-2023 vehicles. But you are very right in everyone relying on China for parts. I have seen it in so many places i have worked. I would say more but dont want any strikes against my channel! Appreciate the support and comment!

Some people are still waiting for the Front Sprocket replacements as well. Not sure if Can-Am believes in having a stock of backup parts for repairs??
