No bike is perfect, but it sounds like the things that you don't like are fixable/upgradeable or outside Dealership/app related and not really bike related. Roger and Rochelle, @Harley Throttle Juice are awesome
I haven't had a manual transmission in quite awhile, but I miss that too...my dad made me learn to drive with a stick shift and I always loved the extra control. Well, so glad Mrs. 602 is able to drive your model!! 🥰
Rog & Rochelle are amazing folks! So glad you are enjoying their content. Honestly, there is no perfect bike and I could make a laundry list of items that need attention on every bike I own. Several of yours are on point and should be addressed. Sometimes the Mfg does that to get the consumer to buy their upgrades. Harley wrote the book on this! Good video sir. Eric
Thx for the shout outs. Regarding a manual transmission, I think if you note the demographics of their users, most are not previously a bike rider or recently a rider. Thus, they decided to remove the clutch due to warranty or abuse on the part of prehistoric are driving an automatic car. Great points.
RJ!! Thank you so much for the shout out! We really appreciate your support xxx I don’t think any bike is perfect as many have mentioned before, however, if the good out-ways the bad and it get you to a place of relaxation and rejuvenation then it’s only positives ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I’m with you re manual, we all grew up driving stick and it’s what we know right 😂😂😂 Thanks for sharing your list my friend, I have been sending my son the links to yours and Jody channels as he loved spyders!
One of my riding buddies has a Spyder and he loves it. His wife made him get off 2 wheels a few years ago and he didn't want a trike. They all have little things that need to be tweeked. Thanks for sharing. Ride safe 👊👍🇺🇸
As a few have said, no bike is perfect, and at least there seems to be the solutions available, albeit at added costs. I have not seen many Can-Ams here in Australia, I am fascinated by them though. ✌️🇦🇺 Great job again, RJ! 😉✌️
I do love your opening. Ours is a lot funner lol. Our limited did come with the fog lights. After watching your video you need one like ours. Our best upgrades is the magic mirrors. Makes life so much better.
Rog and Rochelle are beautiful hearted people. A great list. Definitely real points from experience rather than sensationalised click bait I’ve seen on other channels.
Fog lights...I bought mine used and it had fog lights already installed, but I ended up putting on the LED ones anyway...so not sure if the fog lights came on it originally or not...🤷
Very well explained. Even if I am not into Spyders, I like it a lot. Thanks for sharing. As for the lady there, when you were buying... have to consider that that day she had a date worth more than an average Spyder, that is why she was typing on the phone all the time. :) Just guessing. Keep up. Gave you the 37th like. p.s. Will check HTJ and sub.
I'm with you on the manual transmission. I love driving manual. My wife can't drive manual so now I have my first automatic, which has been an adjustment! Sometimes in emergency stop situations my left foot waves around to find the clutch hahah. Anyway, between you and Purple on Three I think I have to test ride a Can-Am at some point. They do look like a lot of fun!
I have yet to ride a Spyder yet. My buddy wants to get one, so I'll venture out with him and go for a spin. Maybe there is something I'm missing. Thanks for the share!
You should do it. One word of advice: lighten up on handlebar grip. It tends to sway a bit left and right and 1st timers (including me) think it’s all over the road. It’s really not but is sensitive to a tight grip. Thanks for watching!
@@JunkyardDadski I had the “death grip” on the Spyder when I rode it home for dealer and was worried about it until someone told me to lighten up. I don’t think I did that on 2’s since I rode for over 40 years

The only thing I use is the Bluetooth for music to the speakers on my 21' RTL. I deleted the app from my phone too. I let the Sena 20s work like they were designed and not through the Spyder. I've got 3 vehicles that the phone connects everytime I get in ,but the Spyder randomly disconnects the Bluetooth.
Hey I was wondering, you mentioned that you put your phone on the mount in the middle of your handlebars. Which phone mount are you using? I'm looking to get one for my spider RT and I really don't know which one to get for the middle of my handlebars.
one thing I hate about the internet is company's employees pretending to be happy customers. I saw that on Yamaha forums after I bought my bran new $13,000 Yamaha lemon.
I bought a manual but RT limited I had to purchase the one from the previous year I have a 2021 I was gonna get the 2022 but it's the same bike as it's 2021 and it's 2020 . So I bought the 2021 I bought the manual And I bought the ceramic specs Electrical. $95. I was lucky to get it that it was stll in print.
We agree BRP app is no good. We don't use it at all. Service is a nightmare. Bob ended up doing our oil change in the campground. It was messy. They are great to sell but not repair, improvement or update.
Thanks Barb. I’m going to let them do this service/Baja Ron install so they can do the updates but will change and will change the oil myself on the next one!

I think it’s fine. It does clunk shifting to first but every motorcycle I’ve owned did thy to a certain degree. It’s been out there long enough to prove reliable.
Too much upkeep on a Can-Am spider. Tires don't last long on the back. Rotate the front tires every 5,000 miles back. You don't rotate him you got to take them off from the rim and replace them on the other one too much work. Anytime you do work to one it's too much breakdown too much time consuming. The book says that you're not even supposed to take it to a car wash. Give me a two-wheel anytime three just ain't working.
I didn’t get to that point on tires before I sold it and the F3 isn’t near as bad for panel removal as the RT. I thought it was a very reliable machine but my biggest complaint is the dealers.
