This drummer is doing fine. He isn't Chris hakius and we shouldn't expect him to ape Chris. I am enjoying this. I think his style adds a sense of immediacy that compliments OM. The cymbal riding and head bobbing trudge is still there, but more interesting.
he plays well in Grails and Holy Sons but he totally lacks the smoothness in OM. he just smashes everytime to hard. he destroyed every OM show i saw in the last 8 years. sorrily.

dman2602 He dropped an album last year under his solo-project Holy Sons and his other band Grails dropped Chalice Hymnal in 2016. Still active!

As much as Emil's drumming has been put down on other videos of this show, that cymbal fill at 4:21 is ASTOUNDINGLY well-placed and just so good.
