I just got this drone yesterday with the DJI RC N1 Controller brand new out of the box. I couldn't afford to get the DJI Mini 4 or 3 Pro, so this will do for now.
I have a complete extremely detailed beginners guide. If you need to know that information this is Justin and boxing and software set up. The beginners guide is extremely useful for people who are brand new.
I like the design of it, dosen't look like a frog like the Mini 3 pro. Though if I were to upgrade I would just save a longer and get the pro for the tracking and other features.

If you already own the ProI don’t think there is any really advantage. Except perhaps a few extra minutes of flight time, but probably not worth it. For me I just purchased it as I like to cover all drones on my channel.
Good morning! Thinking about getting one of these but i have a ? for you. If i get the controller with the built in screen can I still plug my phone into it and see the camera view so i could fly FPV with something like the dronemask? If not i will have to get the standard controller.

It’s a tough decision, but for myself, I really like the pro. I don’t really use tracking a lot, but the other tools are super useful. Like spotlight where you can lock in the subject fly. The drone in the camera will always remain focused on it plus, I like making Hyperlapses as well.

It’s brand new and when I let it hover above us while we were working on this roof, about five minutes into the recording, the camera was showing all these weird colors, blues and reds. It almost look like thermal and I could see it on the device and it was also on the recording the minute I move the drone the camera went back to normal. What do you think?
Just purchased a DJI Mini 3 Fly More Combo Drone & DJI RC Remote Controller, during first time set up I have a gimbal error 40027 and I’m not sure how to clear this 🤔, could you offer advice (if you have come across this error). I’m a first-time UK Drone flyer. Any advice appreciated.
Personally, myself, I’ve never come across that air. I would contact DJI support and see what they suggest, it could be a defective unit. But don’t delay contacting them because if it’s a new product you only have 14 days to start a warranty issue where they will just send you a brand new drone. After that they will only repair.
How comfortably do all the Fly More Kit components fit in the bag? I noticed with the Mini 3 Pro that the drone, controller and multi-charger did not fit comfortably in the bag at the same time.
Mine is the fly more kit, which includes extra batteries in the case. If you got the regular kit, it only comes with the drone, controller, and one battery.
Yes, any USB-C charger will work the higher, the wattage, the faster it will be. You may want to pick up a 45 W charger down the road you can get them fairly inexpensively on Amazon.
It still annoys me that they didn’t include a blade secure strap like they did with the mini 2 ,I hate putting my mini 3 pro away and catching the blades on the case
Indeed. They do have a new one that they just released along side of it. That’s compatible with both the pro and this one but a shame you have to buy it separately.
Just use Velcro strap like the ones for electrical cords look like battery strap on quadcopter or if want to go old school use them wide purple or blue rubber bands it's cheaper but the Velcro strap looks more like an actual accessory get at Walmart or Home Depot color is at your discretion my take get black look sleek.
One question that is driving first time drone owners crazy is: What are 5 reasons to get obstacle avoidance and 5 reason on not needing it. Comments are made, but one of a first time drone owner’s fear, is flying into something. Also, isn’t it cool to be able to follow a subject? How much will I use it? Your thoughts will help. Well, optical avoidance definitely comes in handy when you’re flying backwards or sideways. Even today I was flying it doing a rotation and I really didn’t know what was coming up beside me. I had a good idea. There was nothing there, but I wasn’t sure if there was a tall tree. as for negative can prevent you from getting smooth shots. If you’re flying close to objects
I convinced a 57 y/o buddy to buy the Costco Mini2 Kit last week. He’s driving 120 miles early tomorrow morning to gone drone flying. Every man should own a drone. 😂😂😂
The mini 3 is an excellent drone. Just wanted to make sure I was clear about the differences for those who haven’t purchased yet. The mini three cannot get a better drone for the price.

Nah it’s not as good quality as the higher end ones, but you can still get good video. You just need to know how to shoot it and fly a drone and know how to edit in color grade even if it’s limited amount that you can do
some of us are young and just want a drone to play with and also dont want to break the bank! if you want a better camera just buy the more expensive model like the air2s or mavic 3
I remember people complaining that DJI kept releasing gimbals but now is definitely DJI's drone year, and yes an incredible one!

It is a tight fit, but I don’t really see it as a problem myself. You Do you want things to be snug components rattling around can get damaged.
