everlast is a great choice. i've turned people onto them just cause of the 5 year warranty they have. i had one of the mig machines a few years ago and a buddy got a tig machine. i ended up not welding much and sold mine but he's still going strong with his.
Turn down your torch gas to 15cfh to save argon. That cup size don’t need to run that much. In a pinch use polish compound on the hood lens or change the sensitivity setting.

Not gonna lie, pretty envious. Keep that button on the torch, it'll be a life saver tacking IC & exhaust pipe work in places you can't get your foot on the pedal.

I have the same machine! It’s been working really well! One thing I must point out which I did as well is tighten the line from the regulator to the back of the machine without holding the piece on the machine with a wrench. It says in the manual to make sure you hold it still or it could cause damage. I didn’t and I believe i have the tiniest leak. You look to have tightened it more than I did so just be on the lookout for a leak and always shut off your gas lol
The best local shop in Edmonton is probably Speedtech and Jessie (owner) has been using everlast green machines for years. When my shop needed a plasma cutter we bought one. It still works great. When I'm ready to buy a proper tig I'll buy one too.

Side note Dana…..invest in a CK torch for the everlast. I’d get a flexloc if I were you. And you should absolutely learn how to take advantage of pulse settings once you get more familiar 👍🏼

It's okay you start with in Everlast take a look at the primeweld tig225x and the max cool 3000 water cooler when you're ready to upgrade to do a lot of aluminum work... It's not a bad machine though but opinions are like buttholes everyone has one...
