Bandsaw Blade Tension Gauge - real test

The following video shows a measurement of the tensile strength of a large band
saw that cracks and breaks many bandsaw blades!
We took the Bandsaw Blade Tension Gauge with us to check exactly how tight the bandsaw blades were. As you will see, it turns out that the straps are too tight!
The reason why the workers in the workshop tighten the blades so much is wear -
the lack of an ellipse on the wheels of the machine. When the ellipse of the wheels
is missing or very worn, it is impossible to stabilize the bandsaw blade in the working
position! The bandsaw blade begins to enter and exit strongly back and forth on the
wheel itself. To compensate for this instability of the blade, the workers began
to tighten the blade even harder! They often use various bushings, such as pipes and
levers, and so end up stretching the straps well above the allowable values. A
cracking and tearing of band saw strips in huge quantities begins.
When all is well with the machine and sharpening, the bandsaw blades should be
tightened in the green area, preferably in the dark green range of the Bandsaw Blade
Tension Gauge.
The indicator scale of the device is in kg/cm2 and PSI as standard!
But at the request of the client it can be made only KG or PSI!
