This is SO DELICIOUS!! I made it this morning and added a banana, Cinnamon and Cacao powder to the dough before I baked it. Did not use the cumin. We enjoyed it with peanut butter and honey. So easy to make.
Yessssss, that's what I always add to my oatmeal. Along with any dried fruit on hand. Raisins, 🍒cherries cranberries, blueberries, strawberries.. they all plump up again when you add them to oatmeal. I'll try this with maple syrup, ground ginger and cinnamon. Maybe bananas and walnuts.

Hey if anyone is gonna try it, I did a little less oats and one egg, because I didn’t want too much. Skipped the salt, didn’t have any cheese so I used Parmesan. At the end I drizzled a little salt and ate it with some pita bread and some trader joe hash browns 🥰🥰🥰🥰 enjoy

I love this idea, an oatmeal pancake! I have made it 3 times now, each time it turns out slightly differently each time still delicious! I have never achieved the "poof," which I attribute to user error in measuring ingredients, ... perhaps?..., but does not distract from the finished product. I add more cheese, no salt (as there is plenty of salt in the cheese), use medium heat setting, and it takes about 15-20 min. to cook on both sides. I started varying the ingredients, such as adding frozen veggies (thawed and drained). It's like pizza dough, you can make it hearty or sweet. It's delicious sweet with syrup!

It supports weight loss because it's a nutrient dense food that makes you feel full for a long time after eating it. Therefore, it should help you eat less over the course of the day. And that then supports weight loss goals. I personally have lost weight primarily through fasting in combo with ketogenesis, and meals with oatmeal have been part of that.

My friend made this for her children. Cooked it in a pot, left out the (painful amount of) salt, added a bit of sweetener (honey or brown sugar), cinnamon and raisins and called it porridge pudding. Her kids didn’t like oatmeal, but they loved porridge pudding!

Tasty but the measurements needed adjustment. 85 grams = 2/3 cup. 200 ml = ~7 oz. I used a 12" = 305 mm pan which is too big as the mix barely covers the bottom and never really rose like in the video. I would use an 8 or 10 " pan next time. I used about 1/2 tsp = ~ 2.8gm of salt, pepper, and cumin. I ate mine as a porridge instead of a bread, I will try again. Maybe a little bit less salt should be good. I didn't add honey or sweetener maybe next ?? WORTH A TRY !!!

I've been making this for years. I sauté minced onions/garlic chopped mushrooms in olive oil. Then add the oats stir add the eggs unbroken on top cover and cook on low heat. When eggs are done slide onto a plate brighten with lemon or lime.. Use salsa or syrup or yogurt as you like. Delicious.

We’re being told not to add salt because we eat so much from preserved, processed food and junk/fast food already which has loads of salt in it already. If it comes in a packet, a tin or a jar it’s probably got lots of salt and other chemicals in it to make it taste better and keep longer. Don’t eat that stuff and eat fresh produce and unadulterated foodstuffs and add good salt for health and flavour.

One variation I liked was cutting up a strip of bacon, cooking it and pouring off some of the fat, then pouring in the oat/egg mix. Also for spices- curry, cardamom, cayenne, garlic, ginger, all work well. And cheddar cheese. :)

I've been making this for years. I sauté minced onions/garlic chopped mushrooms in olive oil. Then add the oats stir add the eggs unbroken on top cover and cook on low heat. When eggs are done slide onto a plate brighten with lemon or lime.. Use salsa or syrup or yogurt as you like. Delicious.
I was thinking no way I would eat this. Seeing end result, I think I'll give it a go. 😊 thanks

We’re being told not to add salt because we eat so much from preserved, processed food and junk/fast food already which has loads of salt in it already.
If it comes in a packet, a tin or a jar it’s probably got lots of salt and other chemicals in it to make it taste better and keep longer.
Don’t eat that stuff and eat fresh produce and unadulterated foodstuffs and add good salt for health and flavour.
