I have to agree with other commenters here, you have mastered the art of keeping everything in proportion. The audio levels are perfection. I am definitely using this for writing and playing characters in undead settings. Unlike so many attempts at creepy ambience, this one delivers with the grace and subtlety I've come to expect from this channel. The darker, slightly sinister tone of the music combined with the background effects all lend the piece an almost visceral feeling that perfectly matches the visual without going over the top. This is how you create a cinematic ambience and I'm lovin' it.
I am blushing all the way to my toes. 😊 Thank you, thank you, thank you ❤️ I am always battling imposter syndrome, so comments like yours are really what keeps this channel afloat. You appreciating my balancing act means a lot, I sometimes get to the end, render video and all only realizing one instrument is a little too loud and it bothers me so much I scrape it all and start over 😅
I am so happy to hear that Try also my Necromacer ambience, I originally wanted it to be vampire themed, so it might actually also fit some parts of your campaign 😊
Thanks for more amazing atmospherics! Love using your creations, playing selected videos under my Skyrim playthrough, turning off the game music and just enhancing the atmosphere depending on which location the RP-ing takes its course.
@@MartiasMusesit's a match made in heaven! Or Sovngarde! :) I first came across your Tundra Ambience (th-cam.com/video/SXep3-zEqFw/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared ) when I was looking for something suitable as background and your music has been a trusty Skyrim companion ever since!
Yesss, spooky season is here and I am so ready! 🎃 Another wonderfully moody piece, I absolutely love it. Perfect to listen to while reading some scary books!
Thank you! Yes, I am so ready for spooky dark books 📚! I watch at least one recommendation video for spooky books a day just to prepare myself properly 😅 one's reading list is never too long...
@@schattenu Not quite as spooky as much as creepy... did you read Ocean at the End of the Lane? The fear and helplessness from the child's perspective is just so real in this book... Do you have any recommendations?
@@MartiasMuses Creepy is just as good as spooky for me. I haven't read that one yet, but I've been hearing a lot of good things about it for a while, so I'll bump that one up to the top of my priority list. I don't have any recommendations myself yet, but I'll be going to the library next weekend and see if they have anything good!
Again with the perfect volume of everything💛 with you Martia I can trust while sleeping🥰 Really I couldn’t find anything even similar to your ambiences
I have an opinion to share if I may, it is an opinion about this sound (and similar content to it) and what people interpret it to be. Some people would take a look at this content then end up supposing & believing that it is for dark, edgy & bleak people who are devoid of happiness, joy as well as any type of bliss, and that is simply not true. I'd like to say that I don't see my self as one who is edgy, dark or bleak, I know I am rather a hopeful and optimistic one. And so my point is I think this sound is calming, serene and balanced in a certain way where it mixes different elements of sound together and can sound "dark" but it's actually beautiful. I do believe that we should reframe what we think "dark" is and what we think "lovely" is... otherwise it would remain an enigma, for some individuals, to why we LIKE that which is spooky. Into my playlist of mystical sounds this one goes *WHOOSH*.
I find those dark and sad settings beautiful. I don´t really want to make them chilly or frightening, but rather melancholic and mysterious. I am happy you enjoy it :)
This has made me want to read some spooky stuff. Does anybody know any novels that have settings like the picture of the video? Something like the Wardstone Chronicles maybe?
It's been awhile since you posted, but maybe you would like the Ravenloft series??? if you haven't read it already . . . it's been a while since I've read them, though (22 books), so I can't guarantee the level of spook factor. Having said that, I do remember that I liked them very much, though. . . I'll check our Wardstone!

Wow, that´s so creative! And also an honor to be used alongside Skyrim, as it has the best music and sounds :)
