Hello my lovelies! Here’s a witchy melody for you called ‘Walpurgis’.
The night of April 30 is known in Europe and Scandinavia as Walpurgis night, which merges with the ancient pagan celebration of Beltane. The Germanic version of this celebration is called Hexennacht, which means Witches Night. It is believed that witches gain unusually potent powers at this time, so people created special rituals to keep them at bay.
There are many ways to celebrate Walpurgis night. Some sing songs around a bonfire, some dress up in costumes and play pranks on people. Sometimes blessed sprigs of foliage are hung from the houses and barns to ward off evil spirits, and there are offerings for ghosts and phantoms too.

I've read that medieval villagers would place their farm implements--scythes, pitchforks, etcetera, on the ground after sunset, to discourage a flying witch from landing there. interesting.

One night, walking down my alley, I saw something that was oddly shaped like a crescent moon & somewhat of a witch's hat on top, but it looked like a cloud or a shadow & the way it was quickly moving across in the air startled me & even made my heart race a bit. I still have no idea what the hell that was, but I made a rough sketch of what it looked like as a reminder

She seeks for the one she loves, knowing the possibility they'll be gone forever more.

Hello lovely. How I wish I would sit near an open fire more often. The sad thing is the ones close to me do not enjoy that at all, so most times, I sit alone and stare at the flames and sparks. I wish they know how soul healing this was. The movement of the hair and the brush of the broom is soothing.This is wonderful, I love the music, It is good for meditation too. I love the art.

I might have met a real witch once. Not a Wiccan but maybe a real one. She came out of nowhere inside a late night restaurant my friend and I were at. Sat right down between us and started chatting in English with a heavy accent. She wore a black hat, long black velvety dress, and black shoes. She had a hooked nose and looked to be around 70 years old. She wasn’t dressed like anyone there. This was in an Asian country where Halloween was not celebrated nor was it even in October. She looked 100% 3-dimensional. I took a close look at her. She made shadows and everything. I asked her where she was from, and she pointed to the sky. The only thing she was missing was her broom. She had no handbag with her the way all of us ladies do. When we were leaving, the restaurant owner came to us asked us if she was our friend, and we said no. I asked her if the woman was a frequent guest, and the owner said she had never seen her before. The witch followed us until we got inside a taxi.
Another story: my sister’s college boyfriend was in a bar in upstate New York getting drunk with friends. He then started making fun of a woman sitting there, calling her ugly and all sorts of names. The woman got very angry and warned him, but he didn’t stop. So she cursed him saying he will end up in a horrific car accident and die. He actually did later, except his life was saved due to microsurgery on his brain by a brilliant surgeon. She could’ve been a practicing witch.
