Thank you for a wonderful performance. Your technique is presumed, without question. What I truly most appreciate is your registration technique, which seems to be dedicated to the unique qualities of each instrument upon which you play. As it was in the "olden days", your dedication to making the instrument the star of the show has not gone unnoticed. Truly remarkable, laudable, and most appreciated. Be well, and safe. :)

God that was awesome! Can't get enough of that Wurlitzer!

There is nothing that sounds quite like a well-maintained Wurlitzer played by someone who knows how to use it. They didn't get their reputation for organ quality based primarily on pretty cabinetry.

Dave, I had the extreme pleasure of seeing and hearing you at the Thomaston Center, in Connecticut years ago and was flabbergasted! I still remember "Chop-Sticks". The organ gave you some trouble in the middle of a song. The Great went out mid-song! If you didn't pay much attention, you would have never known it. You took it in stride. This is a super instrument. And you gave a superb performance. I've enjoyed it so much. Well done!! Thanks for posting this. (Big Smile!)

Thomaston -- the clock city of Connecticut. I've been there, or at least to a place called the Thomaston Opera House which housed a theater organ. My dad took my mom and us kids there several times for shows in the 70s and 80s.

The audio quality of this recording is by far the best I've ever heard on TH-cam! Congrats on a wonderful sounding organ, too!

Glad you like it.. I regard the audio as at least as important as the vision, and I won't put anything up that has inferior sound, as many unfortunately do. Organ music more than any other needs that quality. Mobile phone recordings just don't cut it! You may also like my latest of Sydney's NYE fireworks taken from in the middle of it all -and with great sound too (I modestly say).
