That is amazing! I couldn't even imagine what it might have taken to build on of these. Hot Rod builders have NOTHING pipe organ builders. You were so lucky. May God be blessing your father, forever. As he is.
👍 👍! Theater organs have the whistles and bells a traditional pipe organ doesn’t, but both are incredible instruments to master and enjoy- such versatility.
FYI, the music was composed by the legendary Sherman Brothers (Robert and Richard), Richard died last week and Robert died a while ago. They also composed iconic Disney themes like Mary Poppins, Jungle Book, as well as "It's A Small World".
She is a beast. A beautiful beast. Especially in the right hands. Well done. "He'll have to get out and get under, to fix his little machine". A very old memory for me. Mike in Oz.
That the piano is _part of_ the organ (just like the other subinstruments are)! Yeah, it's highly fascinating, isn't it? I find especially fascinating when you can go into the back spaces of a theater with one of these and a piano (upright) is stuffed up there where you can't even see it! Like... Wow, how did they crane it into there with all the other stuff? Did it go in before the rest of the building was built, and would you have to disassemble it if it needed to be replaced?

That's the first time I ever heard the "bird song" stop on an organ. But then, it's basically an enhanced Wurlitzer, which (even without enhancement) implies it could do damned near anything already.
My dad was a Pipe organ builder in NYC. I really miss him a lot. This brings back so many memories.
We refer to the instrument as a theater organ
@@garyreasor2277 Its all the same

It's is either a Pipe organ or a theater pipe organ. Either way it's still a pipe organ. Or an Organ

Thanks
THRILLING! So lovely . …. … Thank you so so much!
That's extremely impressive, performed on a setup that seems like the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang of organs. Thank you for posting it!
Amazingly talented gorgeous organ n great sound

Such talent. Thank you. Lots of smiles.
I love/hate that Dave can trill with his left thumb. (When I try that, I have the equivalent of a limp!!) Excellent job - to everyone involved here!

Amazing, what talent and hats off to all those who keep that Organ working behind the scenes.
I LOVE it when the organ plays the piano too - I don’t know why it fascinates me so much!

Think I’ve read up on other videos that the piano was connected to the organ via a midi channel. Hope that kind of makes sense?
Wonderful. Thanks again for the fabulous performance at my wife celebration of life at Blackwood Estate. Many will never forget, I'll remember You.
Nice tour-de-force. Really shows off this instrument.
Sweet!
Should call it "A Motoring Medley"

Mostly “My Merry Oldsmobile” and “You’ve Got to Get Out and Get Under”.
Wonderful playing, beautiful organ! Thanks.
Amazingly imaginative -- registrations, counter melodies, pedal lines, all kinds of things!
Fantastic!
