Awesome. Have seen this facility , its top class , handfull in the world. But we need more research and use this to our advantage for future tech of maritime / riverine/ coastal problems of India. Believe me there are thousands of problems just staring at our face. Solve problems for the nation.
No that is not how the servo actuator which creates this wave motion works. It can be controlled only electronically. If you try to push the actuator with force(either by waves in this use case or by hammering it with a large truck or torpedo) it'll simply break the gear components but won't produce electricity.
This is exactly what I was thinking why don't we harness energy from natural waves? Produce energy by using the right technology, something similar to what is used with water dams or something
I have one suggestion to electricity. We must study travel of waves and duration of waves manufacturing. It's a artificial so very easy to study. After studying this do manipulation of timing. Timer can be fixed to motor. For surfing what types of waves is needed, how we can save electricity. Try to do experiment with hydro electricity to run this instrument. Jay bharat.
I have some other suggestions. Machine is like piston or spring. Give very slight incline angel for ball to move from higher to lower base. Ball while moving will push the syringe or spring. With help of converer belt bring ball up and machine will bring down creating a waves. It can be successful or not successful also because duration of movement of water is different. Jay bharat.
I have seen videos of facilities like this one in the USA, great to have similar stuff in Bharat
