It was the weakest boss fight in the game. Which means the weakest boss fight in the whole series. General Raam would have wiped the floor with the Krakan.
Towards the end, as intense and over the top everything was. Things started getting abrupt, specifically after you had to make your choice on who to save and just the general amount of buggy aspects in game, I would venture a guess towards the end Development started going into crunch time, which is just not good for games at all. Like if they made the fights while you were sitting in the back of the minotaur count a little more, like you actually needed to fend off swarm that were trying to destroy the truck, it really felt like it was just a drive by sequence of no consequence; and if they made the part where you were at the wall really seem like you had to hold the line againist a massive wave of enemies because by this point the hammer of dawn was offline and it became tactical retreat effort with that massive swarm creature, it was quick little sequence that kinda left me wanting for more of the visual display of the desperation of the fight (I was playing on Experienced, so your experience may vary, there are like 8 difficulties, maybe i shouldve played on the higher end). TL;DR Damn great gears of war game, would always recommend, just felt a little off towards the end.

Act 2 and 3 did not need to be open world, since it wasnt an open world, just a big map with small things scattered around randomly, there was no back story like they said, just small side mission which i can do in Borderlands 3

Ye I see what you mean it just felt like it wasn’t right for the story to end like that and I miss the good endings gears 3 was a remarkable game with a good story and ending it just felt so disappointing and the game felt rlly short especially if you just did the main missions and not the side ones

Nah, they’ll prob either kill them off at the beginning or just not include them somehow, that’s what telltale did with their choice determinant characters, but gears isn’t made by telltale so idk

It felt so cheap. If you stand under the ammo its tongues can't reach you so you just wait for it to grab someone so you get a better aim
