It's a really great landing, and the video footage is very clear and cute. What is the original type of this plane? P-51C or D ? Is the speed gauge on the instrument panel in knots or mph? Thanks~
It's a P-51D converted to a TF-51D (P-51 with dual controls). Airspeed indication in this particular P-51 is in miles per hour. Thanks for watching and for your feedback!
& I'd just like to say "thank you!" Felt like I was with ya. Question? The instrument with the blue screen, lower left...doesn't look original...what is that?
Is it a usual way not to look at the attitude indicator in landing? The other pilot also says looking for the aiming point and refering to airspeed, vertical speed indicator are enough for good approach
What an honor to fly with you Sir ! Amazing! I would loooove to fly a Mustang some day

Excellent to watch. Thanks 😊
Thanks, hope you'll like the other videos on the channel as well.
This man is insanely awesome. Good job buttering the landing!
Thank you very much for your kind comment.

It's a GPS navigation display. It is showing a blue display because it was not selected ON.
thank you
I’m just going to say “Wow” that’s incredible!
Perfect landing!
Nice! Well done!
Thanks!
What a dream .👍🏼👍🏼
Nice landing :)
Thanks!
Seriously good landing. Textbook. Fly it to the ground. Don't cut the power too early. Literally perfect.
Had a good instructor in the backseat;-)

You need an aiming point , AOA indicator and VSI for a good landing
You know You got some hours when the thumbs on your flight gloves have holes in it
Hahaha, indeed. Got them from a Royal Air Force guy way back when. Too comfortable to throw away...
An American (laminated wing) design, but without the British Rolls-Royce Merlin engine it wouldn’t have gone anywhere.
"Laminar flow" wing, I think you mean. Significant difference.
@@jaakkokoskinen8198 Thanks !
All wings have laminar air flow. Some better than others.
But no laminate flooring in that one ☝️
It make quite nervous looking at it.
Dang! That thing moves! Not exactly a Taylorcraft. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your appreciation and for watching!
2 eargasms and quite possibly a third when the canopy came open. Awesome.
Hahaha, something like that x 1000
So is it vintage ww2?
Yes, but rebuilt twice after crashes in the past (in the US).
What! No Messerschmitts to meet you, typical Luftwaffe.
I was waiting though;-)
It is no longer the original instrument.
Graphics look good for Flight Simulator 2020 :)
