thanks for posting this! I had a similar experience( beginner here also) and I got really frustrated that it wasn't "like on youtube". I was by myself and couldn't glass it, ended up working in small steps. I would definitely use some lube, the glossy ones are easy to scratch and customers have high expectations

I thought that you weren’t supposed to remove the protective film until after installing
Honestly it’s optional the protective film only helps the wrap not to get scratched by the squeege if you got a little bit of soap and water wet your squeege and it won’t make scratches

Which size roll did yu use for the hood?
Is vvivid gloss easier than matte to work with? I used matte on my hood and had the same problem with the wrinkles. And too much heat/stretch caused stress marks in the matte finish. Thinking of redoing it with this ultra gloss.

Try to wrap primecal viny....
You should of got satin black gloss don’t look good not a good contrast for that color
