I don't think that they are giving any You Tubers free product to open on stream.
Honestly, I don't even think they *have* boosters to open yet. They have demo decks and promos and that's it.
My guess is that at least some of those highest tier backers are stores making sure they have some on their shelves for release.
There is a separate retailer page for Kickstarter boxes. It would be nice to see the numbers for that though.

More than anything that dooms the value here is they're going to end up with like 50k boxes as their first set and you can't un-print them once you've done it.
These new games print over 10k boxes into their hype and every set after needs to be printed in a larger quantity. The problem is that 50% of the first set is all for speculators and the real demand for another set isn't there.

Hey, saw your community post and I just wanted to say I did like your video and I appreciate the valid points of concern you brought up. I’m trying to find more people with negative effects.
Mythrel is also a new kickstarter TCG and I saw a post on FB that said hit them up for a free deck and I'm a nobody and they said they would send me one with a few samples for no cost. Pretty awesome of them, but those guys are assholes.
Obviously I didn't expect to be given anything but it seemed like a not so professional response to me but oh well haha. Hopefully its a fun opening experience and they can fulfill their lofty goals to the backers!
Time will tell. I don’t feel there is a foundation here. If you get kick in the ass for trying to promote a new TCG, I know where I stand 🤣.

I don't prescribe to the belief that every successfully backed TCG on Kickstarter is a "pump and dump" or "rug pull" or any of the other ways to describe that. I just know that people will treat it as such and will be buying in to flip right away when it releases for quick profit. I'm not sure what the longevity of this will be. I just hope its a fun opening experiences when the game comes out.
Metazoo was targetted at collectors primarily and didn't have a regualr release schedule. Altered has backing from Asmodee, has a known designed behind it and also has a tournament structure and regular releases in its future. Now some may try and pump and dump it, but the marketplace will be these and those cards will be recycled around the people who actually want to play it (as its a good game).
@@gavkenny There's also the factor of their business model being fairly unique with the whole digital marketplace aspect making the actual pasteboard cards essentially worthless beyond using them in the game. Once you pull a card in a pack you scan the QR code to add it to your collection on their app and then you can have them print as many copies as you want and ship it to you, then you can sell the digital ownership via their online marketplace, but only the owner of the digital card can have any copies in their deck for organized play purposes. It'll be interesting to see how all of that works once it's actually out and available, and I'm sure there will still be some speculating going on, especially with the unique cards, but the different business model *should* curb a lot of that.
I don't like the art style looks like any soulless corporate art style trying to mimic something else. And the designs aren't too great either, very forgettable.

Well it's pretty good if you want to try playing it with friends straight away. I enjoyed it ! Or buy it and wait 4 months to receive it when it release
